Bottle. Have wanted to try this for a long time. Love the brewery. Now the beer.
A beautiful rocky head that clings to the glass in chunks. Golden orange and clear body.
Surprisingly some bready, nutty notes immediately apparent with the citrus and apricot aroma. Pleasant.
Taste is very balanced and smooth. Malty sweetness with average bitterness. Hops are grassy and fresh-tasting.
The texture is very soft almost pillowy. I was expecting a little rougher texture so I don’t know what to make of it except enjoyment.
The beer goes down so easy. But the memory of it lingers long afterwards. Body is medium-to-full. Not an imperial, but close. Excellent brew. I was not disappointed.
-pours a clear amber with small particle floaties and a medium to big, foamy, offwhite head
-low to medium carbonation visible
-peaches,grapefruit,fruitcake,passion bitterniss for the style
-low to medium carbonation
A really good West Coast IPA that feels more like a Double IPA. Soupoftoday (75) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 7, 2017
Quality. Ripe orange and pine hop profile with a well balanced, light caramel malt profile. A crisp, dry, slightly peppery finish makes for a refreshing IPA. Towards the end of the glass it was a tiny bit more sweet than perfect - but that is being hyper critical. If you are looking for a classic west coast style IPA this will be more than satisfactory. Mooie volle, meer zoete dan bitter IPA. Gevoelsmatig veel hoger ABV. Afdronk en nasmaak warm. nilsas (4124) - Bryne, NORWAY - JUN 24, 2017

Blah. Flat hops. Was hoping for more. Just an average beer. Drinkable but won't go out of my way

Great IPA, not too fruity, but drinkable with a good bitterness...

Draft - Really clear Amber color. Pretty strong bitterness but nothing very complex going on here. Marstonlad (890) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 26, 2017
On tap at Janoinen Lohi, Helsinki. Pours cloudy golden with a little white head. The aroma features citrus fruitiness, grainy maltiness and some pine. Taste is light to medium sweet initially, slightly surprisingly so, with bitterness appearing later on. Quite substantial hoppiness in the finish. Flavours of sweet pale bread, hay, lemon and orange; not much pine. The palate is medium bodied and very smooth. Nice IPA, fairly moderate in hoppinesd, at least by modern American standards. kapusil (1432) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 24, 2017
0.355l bottle. Dark orange body with a thin white head. Both the aroma and the taste is big on hops. Pine is the most significant character, but it has notes of citruses, toffee and a tiny bit of toast. It has been a while since I had such a bitter IPA. The piney, citrusy hop bitterness stays on the tongue for a long time. Nice IPA. MelvinKalksma (1536) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2017
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, pine, grain, hops and citrus.
Hazy golden/amber beer with a slight/medium off-white head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, fruit and pine; ends slightly bitter and dry with grain, hops and citrus.
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Have to say that there is not much going at all. Such a shame it is filtered to oblivion. Okay beer, but nothing close to what it could have and should have been.
