Great Divide's mantra is that real fruit makes real beer, so Great Divide ferments Wild Raspberry Ale with hundreds of pounds of real red and black raspberries. Wild Raspberry Ale is a truly effervescent, ruby red ale that achieves the almost impossible balance between malted barley and tart raspberry fruitiness. Its naturally tart character makes Wild Raspberry the ultimate accompaniment to spicy Mexican food or on its own as a stand-alone session beer.

Bottle to pint. Looks decent; a ruby tint that indicates the presence of raspberries. Smells and tastes alright, but not special. Obvious fruit influence, but nothing much beyond that. Average on the palate. Alright, not great.

Taken from old notes. Deep ruby pour. Nose of sweet raspberries. Taste is tart and a carbonated finish. Not bad for a fruit beer.

Interesting! In a nut shell.....Raspberry cheesecake. Real fruit flavor. Wheat undertones. decent beer.

Pours a pale ruby reddish/brown. Aroma is big fresh berries but taste is just kind of juicy. Like Juicy Juice. No amount of tartness to really speak of. Not terrible, but nothing notable either.

On tap at Great Divide. Pours a nice red color. Nose has a good dose of berries. Flavor is full of berries and not too much else. A bit boring.

Taste is dark fruit and malt. This one is like a nice after dinner wine. Smooth and slightly sweet.

What a great way to beat the heat during this hot-as-hell summer. Not exceptional, but well worth for the fresh raspberry aroma and flavor--with a considerable malt backbone. Solid.

I love that this isn’t just a candy-flavored fruit beer. Subtle tartness blends with the raspberry sweetness and creates a complex beverage. Ruby color, a thin white head. Nice.

Tap. Clear reddish amber, minimum head, no lacing. Sweet aroma dominated by raspberry and grain. Taste is all raspberry from start to finish.

Heavy raspberry aroma. Very light beer. Sweet flavor but not too much to it. A nice lighter beer.
