Opaque black beer. Light airy palate. Unsweet chocolate straight off, quickly caught up by warming spicy pepper. The unsweet chocolate is rounded off by some oak but the oak imparts no vanilla sweetness. Finishes with more chocolate and heat! The heat lasts a looooong time! Unusual tasty beer, could do with backing off the cayenne a bit.

Deep ambery brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, mild notes of wood as well as some slight roasted notes and coffee as well. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, alcohol and mildly burnt notes. Quite syrupy notes as well.
Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Very black, small beige head. Chocolaty tarry nose. Fairly sweet with full body. Tarry chocolate cake with salt and whisky. Dense and concentrated. Resiny bitterness that grows, grows and grows getting inky with some chili heat. More gimmicky than balanced, but still tasty.
