Great Divide’s Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti’s hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Bottle 66cl @ Home.
Clear dark black color with a large, creamy, excellent lancing, fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, mild and dark chocolate, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft. Very nice ;O)) (070608)

A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma is of coffee, chocolate, and roasted malt and it is the same notes coming from the flavor. This is a great beer. Thanks to Mads Berg for sharing this one.

Oily black stout. The initial stout flavours are quickly blown out of the water by the massive hoppyness! Drinkable and warming though!

33 cl bottle. Very dark brown, medium dark brown head that settles quickly. Great lacing. Aroma of Hershey bar and roasted coffee. Taste is over roasted coffee beans and bitter cocoa. Very thick, almost chewy. OK, but a bit overpowering.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2018 Bottle at home ... Deep Deep black with thin brown bubbly head ... Rich chocolate malt ... Sweet rich chocolate malts ... little caramel lots or roast malts ... quite a bit of spirit... little american hop shows through but not unbalancing it ...though the hoppyness builds a bit much over time... I suspect that this is no worse than the oak aged (from memory) yet i suspect this is a more representative score.bottle at home ...black ... thick tan head ... big roast cocolate malts ... light pin nose ... overhopped ... light chocolate malt ... medium body... decent enough .. but doesnt excite me ... gonna stick on 3.4 keg at the hanging bat... Dark black.. Thin tan lacing.. Soft sweet chocolate roast malts.. Heavy chocolate roast.. heavy chocolate roast malts.. Dark dry chocolate.. Doft bitter chocolate roast malts.. Tiny charcoal 4.0

Bottled. Pitch black, huge brown longlasting bubbly/creamy head. Roasted malt and cream & caramel in aroma. Strong roasted malt, coffee, caramel, toffee and colacandy in flavour. Very complex, and nice. Kickass!

Bottled. Extremely black with dark brown. Licorice aroma. Very sweet, intensely malty. A lot of grapefruity hops. Some coffee and an aromatic bitter finish. Full bodied and packed with flavour, I would still make it less sweet. Many thanks to hopsrus for sending this and many other great beers!
