COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Divide’s Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti’s hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Poured dark, with a brown head. Nose was olives, alcohol, chocolate. Flavor was a bit on the heavy side alcohol-wise, but other than that I found chocolate, roasted coffee, smoke, malt.

Bottle, pours black with a brown head. Aroma is earthy with citrus and roasttaste has espresso, cocoa, earthy notes, pine and tobacco. Lovely bitterness with a complementing sweetness. Rich, with a lingering finish. Excellent.

Thanks to wombat23. Pours black from the bottle. The light brown head is creamy and clings to the glass in a sticky web of lacing. Aroma is rich milk chocolate, toffee. Taste is very bitter with dark chocolate undertones. A bit too bitter for the style in my opinion, and leaving no room for either sweeter or berry undertones. Finishes acrid. Body is heavy, fudge-like, with mild carbonation. Overall okay, but not among my top in this style.

Piana drobna, beżowa, trwała, zdobi szkło. Kolor czarny nieprzejrzysty. W aromacie mocna polonosc, czekolada. Smak, agresywna palonośc, gorzka czekolada, kawa, estry. Wyraźne chmielenie, slodkie nie wyklejające. Piwo ostre, monentami agresywne, intensywne w smaku, z haraktetem, smaki jednak graja, bardzo dobrze

Very rich and dark stout. Head is very dark and laces the glass - eventually dissipates. Drinks easier than the ABV would suggest. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a jet black with a foamy tan head. Aroma is surprisingly strong on the earthy hops, with roast and chocolate malts. Flavor is chocolate, roast, toffee, and earthy hops. Sweet and quite bitter. Has a lively, full body. Quite good.

A: Very dark with a light brown big head. N: Dark char, Freshly baked brown rusks T: Liquorice, molasses, well balanced acidity, a brothiness emerges. The citrus from the hops keeps this potentially heavy beer quite bright and drinkable. P: Very full O: Other hoppy stouts take note. This is the benchmark.
