Cask at Cloisters. Hazy yellow, thin white head. Aromas of citrus and spice, some light cereal. Taste has a light sweetness, very light bitterness. Creamy texture, clean finish. Good.

330ml Bottle - Hazy golden with a foamy head. Lemon, banana, yeast and a hint of spice in the aroma. Hoppy and slightly sweet taste with banana, grapefruit, peach and yeast. Very nice.

Bottle bier huis ossett. Cloudy yellow colour. Aroma is wheat and hops. Taste is wheat hops pepper and banana dry bitter finish. Medium body quite strong carbonation. First wheat beer I’ve had was ok nothing special.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2013 Bottle. Good pun- genuinely confusing. Veiled gold skimmed with narrow white. Juicy aroma equidistant from several things; unclouded, minimally spiced Belgian witbier, pineapple cubes, chopped parsley and coriander, yeasty BC English GA. Mushy herbal wheat flavour with mild hop reinforcement. Earthy finish with good herbal hop and pale malt. More pineapple. Not a million miles from the hopped up wheats labelled white IPA across the pond. Pretty good.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2014 Re-Rate - bottle from Beer Ritz, Leeds. Much nicer with pleasant saison esque yeast textures and a light refreshing dry finish.

330ml bottle from Jack’s Off license, Stroud Green. Got a not-too-pleasant vinegar aroma from the bottle with fresher banana wheat coming from the glass, pours a cloudy weizen colour with a bitterness that bolts straight out. Would’ve liked a bit more weizen wheat from this but comes across a little average. Still, nice artwork though.

Pours golden, really nice on the nose and tastes like a dry white wine more than a beer, quality nice.

Bottle bought from Y Delyn Wine Bar, Mold. Pours a hazy light yellow colour with a long lasting albeit thin head. Picked up hints of banana and heavy hops on the nose, with a very dry, bitter floral taste. Initially wasn’t keen but after a couple of sips this is a very refreshing beer. Could very easily divide people.

Slightly murky sandy yellow, decent white head. Richly hoppy nose, bright and clovey at the same time. Firm hoppy yeast, Bit to sticky yeasty finish for me, stomps down the bitterness on the linger.

Bottle, Beer Ritz, November Tasting.
