Lovely rich caramelly treacle aroma, some coffee-ish roast. Nice full roasty taste, some barley clear. Soft palate, smooth, quite full. Finish slightly dry and husky. Very easy quaff, may be a bit sweet in quantity, but just one is lovely.
Cask @ Kings Head, Barmby on the Marsh.
Never a bitter in a month of Sunday’s. More a cross between a dark mild and a light stout.
Decent drink all the same. Coffee, light liquorice and malt.
