Cask. Pours coffee brown with white lace top. Aroma of coffee grounds and berry fruits. Taste is roasted malts, and some soft fruits. Palate is soft and for me it was a bit watery for a stout.

Cask @ The Three Tuns, Sheffield [020916]
Black, bubbly yellow white head, good lacing
Aroma of roasted malts, soft burnt notes, slight smoky
Taste of dark malts, roasted malts, dab of coffee roast, bit of dark fruit, mainly roast, not too burnt
Palate - Medium body, light sweet malt background, some bitter roast. FInish of soft roast
Overall - OK, not too roasty, but I prefer sweeter stouts

Towey1989 (3171) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 3, 2016
Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A deep brown to black colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, some chocolate, slight earth, a little caramel and subtle liquorice. Taste of roasted mats, coffee, earth, some chocolate, slight liquorice, a little caramel and subtle blackberry. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, liquoricy, roasted bitterness in the finish. A very dry, roasty and earthy stout. Good flavour but for me, too dry and bitter.

Fin (10840) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2015
Cask handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Tuesday 30th December 2015 Pours black with a creamy textured light tan head, looks great. Some smooth milk chocolate on the nose, this comes through rather neatly in the mouth also, with a little cocoa powder edge and nicely integrated roastiness. Smooth well done simple but damn tasty stout, like it a lot. A7 A5 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0
