Cask. Pours a dark gold colour with a fluffy white head, the aroma is fruity with plenty citrus, the taste is medium bitterness and fruity with a dry bitter finish.

Cask at Rose & Thistle, Frimley Green. First: referring to other ratings it looks like I was drinking a different beer or, perhaps more precisely, the cask was stale. Vague grassy pine aroma... just. Gold. Thin bubbly head. Bitter - builds up but only up to a medium. Not getting much fruit, other than one harsh grapefruit and quinine. Medium bodied. Slick. Flats carbonation. Abrupt finish. Let's blame the cask but all rather one noted and insipid.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2017 Cask at The Albany, Great Portland Street. Light amber with creamy white head. Zesty, floral with a big citrus, tangy finish. Dangerously drinkable, excellent pint.

The Angel Inn, Highgate Village, London. Modest thick foam, hazy orange brown. Fruity, bitter hops top to bottom. Orange juice. Pithy bitter, dries out considerably. Quite nice.

From cask at The York, Islington, London. Clear golden body and a white film. Earthy pine, sweet tropical fruit syrup and caramel aroma. Lovely bittersweet taste with tons of pine and resin notes. Medium bodied. Gently carbonated and a long pleasant end. Good stuff.

Cask at the Railway Richmond, amber with a lacing head and a malty peppery bitter orange nose. Smooth and malty-bitter, with toasted orange, a syrupy dry texture and a herbal bitter edge. Very nice.
