FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 11, 2017
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a reddish brown color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded and left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with yeast and dark and golden fruit. The flavor was sweet with toffee, bread, dark fruit and golden fruit. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Alcohol well controlled.

Amber color with a short lived off white head. Belgian yeast and ripe fruit nose. Nice dubbel with lots of fruity flavor, Belgian yeast and a nice spicy finish.

Turboninja (710) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 28, 2015
[email protected] Lakes brewpub, Cleveland, USA. Light/medium aroma with sweeter berries. Dark copper color with minimal white head. Slightly hazy liquid. Medium/strong taste with bananas and sweeter berries. Very artificial and sugary compared to European counterparts. Medium taste spectrum and medium sweet after taste with sweet berry notes. Medium palate with medium/light carbonation. Overall, a sad sweet artificial copy of European real stuff.

on tap @ Party Town (Friday Night Flights) / Florence KY --- Hazy dark amber, beige head cover, a star field of lace. Taste is big sweet caramel malt that mellows in the palate, moving to a solid, clean, somewhat hopped, but still, sweet malt in the finish. Heavy on the sweet, but really nice in the finish. Light alcohol warmth seals the deal.

Good double, and well-balanced. Ria in and plum with some florals and a pretty good balance. Pours cloudy maroon without much head or lacing. Light sweet finish. Tap at Churchkey.

Snifter at GLBC on 12/1/12. Clear copper pour with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel and light banana esters. Malty and peppery flavor with some banana and a bit of sweetness before a bitter, crisp finish.

This poured a semi cloudy lighter brown color with a beige head. Aroma was very limited, light darker belgian candy sugar and some caramel and spice. Flavor was very dumbed down and watery, light dark fruits and some candy sweetness, but just way too thin.
