Picked up single 12-oz bottle from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, MN as Alchemy Hour Double IPA. Pours a semi-clear golden orange colored brew with an average sized off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of light grapefruit, tangerine, more tropical fruits and caramel malt. Taste is medium bodied with flavors of a solid tropical fruit-style IPA. Finish is semi-sweet with a lingering bitterness. Will turn into an American style barleywine if not drank fresh. Tongue shock recovery time, about 3 minutes. xblanchard29x (39) - Alabama, USA - AUG 12, 2016

Pours orange with big frothy white longlasting head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Above medium on the palate with not much carbonation. Citrus flavors and a really nice balanced finish. Interestingly despite the 9 percent ABV there is no booziness. I will be enjoying this again. Gluepot (631) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 25, 2016
A lovely red/gold body with a healthy, well laced off-white head. A soft nose features fresh grapefruit and lemon with caramel malt. This beer has a really nice blend of fresh fruity hops including grapefruit, lime, kiwi, melon and orange. A mild soapiness is appealing. Pepper and light caramel malt round out the taste profile. The body is slick and slight above average in density. Carbonation is light but appropriate. The finish is fruity with a controlled sweetness hotstuff (5141) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 24, 2016
Rated on 7-24-2016. The appearance of this bottled beer is a medium sized semi-fizzy off-white head that is mostly lasting, bright amber transparent body, very fizzy, lively, fast rising carbonation observed, one ring of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, light pine hops, juicy, grapefruit, fruity, spicy, earthy, and caramel malt. The flavor presents medium-heavy bitterness, citrus hops, very earthy, grapefruit, fruity, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel of this beer is heavy and moderate carbonation. This beer is medium-full bodied. A very quaffable sipping beer with a very good taste. It is worth trying and it is a beer that I would drink again.

Strong pine aroma, but one dimensional. Also some caramelly malt. Just a little hazy with amber body and a two finger thick head. Pretty sweet taste, with some of the hop flavor and a soapy bitterness at the end. Medium body. muzzlehatch (4950) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 18, 2016
Draught pint at O’Riley & Conway’s Irish Pub in Janesville, WI, today. Darkish amber-bronze with a fine, delicate head leaving significant sugar-crystal residue as it and the beer recede very quicky, too quickly...super-fresh, big hoppy ripe pit-fruit nose, apricots and peaches and perhaps some mangoes, this is another indicator for me that Mosaic may be my favorite current hop variety, certainly for these strong, sweet IPAs it does the trick; also a bit of cedar or sandalwood, more complex as I take more whiffs than my initial nosing...on the front of the palate, very sweet and perhaps a touch syrupy, moderately bitter and just a very faint touch tart in the middle, with bitterness slowly growing but never dominating at the end as it would in, say, Ruination...this finishes with a highly enjoyable fruit-sweet and medium-bitter lightly dry character. Overall like many sweeter IIPAs it is a bit thick and overly juicy to my tastes, especially as it warms - which made me drink it perhaps a bit too fast - but in general the balance is solid, and this is highly drinkable and enjoyable. Nice amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of caramel malt, pine/floral hops, citrus, & some tropical fruit; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel, pine hops, tropical fruit, and citrus (notably orange); Dry finish & fairly bitter; Nicely balanced; Very good - enjoyed it. zizzybalubba (1862) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 9, 2016
12 oz. bottle from The Hop Yard, Raleigh (enjoy by July 3, 2016 so I just missed it by a few days). Dark orange pour with a frothy khaki head. Aroma of tangerine, grapefruit, wet grass, and toffee. The taste certainly features a bitter hop presence but there is a sturdy malt backbone that makes this almost akin to a barley wine. Tangerine, grapefruit rind, pine, caramel, and graham cracker are the noted flavors here. Nice beer! altonbrownd (5898) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - JUL 2, 2016
Bottle from Whole Foods Arlington. Nice amber body with huge head. Nose is hoppy, sweet. Taste is hoppy and citrus.
