[Tap] Muddy orange color with a small cap of head. Excellent looking lacing. Aromas of Belgian yeast, clove and grainy malts. Taste includes more clove, nutmeg, vanilla, cereal grains, banana, dough, residual sweetness, toasted breads and darker fruits like plum. Nice complexity. Rich body. Originally I thought the balance between yeast/malt seemed a little off, but this beer really grew on me as I drank it. Chudwick (3363) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - APR 30, 2014
growler into Le Wobbly Watou - Nose is best described as a La Fin du Monde. Grassy, fruity, spicy, Belgian candy, and citrus peel. Sweet, with a bitter finish. A great value. rondphoto (4494) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - APR 29, 2014
on tap @ Drake’s / Florence KY --- Hazy medium orange amber, with a rim head and light streaks of lace. Semi-sweet toffee malt, a bit of wood, a bit of warmth, then a bit of bittering that yields to the malt again in the finish. A nice Belgian style ale, satisfying, full-bodied. Recommended. b33r (881) - Ohio, USA - APR 25, 2014
Burnt orange color with medium off-white head and minimal lacing. Aroma is malty and yeasty. Flavor has light fruits, nice spice and yeastiness, with a strong amber malt. Oily mouthfeel, thick, with a slight alcohol tingle. joshwoodward (575) - - APR 22, 2014
Had a glass on tap at Alexandria’s in Findlay. Meh, I’m not a big fan of the style, but this was ok. Too boozy and sweet for me.

Appearance: Hazy ruddy amber body with a firm and creamy light tan head.
Aroma: The aroma is sweet with bubblegum and banana being the most prominent. Hints of clove linger in the back with a touch of vanilla. I like the ester profile here, very fruit, but strong.
Taste: Sweet flavor with bubblegum and banana coming through strongest with a mild clove finish. Lingering on the finish is a light prick on the tongue and a dash of floral bitterness.
Palate: Full-bodied with sharp carbonation.
Overall: This isn’t a real stand-out tripel, but it’s darn good. I’ve drank a bunch of this over the past two days, a sample here and there, and each time I enjoy it. This is much worth a try if you like the style.
Draft. Nice spiciness, clean but yeast, light esters, good malt honeyness, one of the better ones made in the us. sturmthis (1195) - Bavaria, GERMANY - APR 12, 2014
