Very dark red-brown beer. Opaque. Short lived deep tan head. Minerally dark malt nose. Softish palate, a little dry, but turns crisper. Smooth rich dark malt, well balanced chocolate and coffee. Very nice undertone of red fruits. Really good balance of flavours. Smooth and not bitter or over dry.
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a very dark mahogany with a huge, creamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Very full body, sweetish roasted malt with roasted, coffeeish accents and some chocolate. Light, bitter finish and very pleasant overall. Thanks heaps to Yogi_Beera and pivo for bringing this. 170406 Beerhunter111 (22268) - P´Castle, GERMANY - JAN 29, 2016

Bottle shared at chriso’s - big thanks to The Peter. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose has lots of toast, milk chocolate, nips of tar. Medium to big sweet flavor with smooth, sugary chocolate, some burnt earth, raisins and dark berries, low bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary dark malt finish with hefty burnt bread, milk chocolate, moderate scorched earth, raisins, dark berries. Solid. Robust and quite drinkable. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 5, 2006
Black color. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, leather. Smooth texture, thick mouthfeel (malt, caramel, liquorice, roasted malt…). Excellent, very well brewed. Thanks Nat!
