Pale orange pour with a thick white head. The aroma is quite fruity with a soft sweetness and a touch of light vanilla. Some orange creamsicle notes along with a bit of sweetness. The palate on this is lovely - lightly sweet without being cloying or underattenuated (which I sometimes find to be a problem in these milkshake IPAs). Medium palate but again, without being sticky or sweet. ametras (1879) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 3, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 On tap at Brothers. Hazy golden yellow with a foamy white head. Flavors are orange Creamsicle, vanilla, citrus and grass. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slick texture. GlennHendry (563) - OSHAWA, Ontario, CANADA - APR 15, 2017
The vanilla and pineapple flavours so prominent in the Milkshake IPAs I’ve enjoyed are more muted in this Pale Ale. But the creamy texture is spot on and that delicious Milkshake juiciness is, well, delicious. Freaky_tiki (1479) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 9, 2017
Can from brewery. Pours 1970’s era orange with a creamy cap of foam across the surface. Lovely juicy milkshake with a distinct citrus shine. Mandarin orange & candied grapefruit & fuzzy peach. Vanilla adds a vague ambiance of fun to the candy shop hop show. A truly angular & distinct pale ale. Mouth feel is silky. The lactose leaves a slightly pasty mouth in the aftermath. Recommended limited release.
