Pours cola like, small off white top. Aroma is faint cherry, light toasted malts and dark chocolate. Taste is much the same, would have liked the cherry to be more prevalent and have it play with the chocolate more.

A dark brown porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with light cherry notes, light acidity, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light nutty notes, light vanilla, light cherry notes, oily mouth feel, very nice and smooth. Bottle at Spinrsx tasting.

[Draught at ’Stout Night’, Indie Alehouse Barrel House] Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a small semi-lasting frothy tan head. Nice tart cherry aroma along with roasted malt and some notes of cocoa and chocolate. Great flavour of roasted malt and chocolate along with lots of tart cherries -- combination works for me. Average to medium bodied. This hit all the right buttons today.

650 ml bottle from the brewery. Listed at 7% abv and 30 IBUs. Nose is tart cherry, sweet fruit with some coffee and chocolate in the background. Taste is similarly dominated by the cherry, which is delicious. If you like tart cherry this is a winner. Roasted malt is in the background but provides an excellent vessel to deliver the cherry flavour.
