Dark brown color, near black. The aroma is earthy, some chocolate. The mouthfeel is quite dry, there is chocolate, coconut, some leather.
Nice, but such beer requires more sweetness.

650ml bottle (thx, Louis-P. B.!) at Alex’s with Jamey. Pours an almost black with a beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt and some fruity notes. Taste is similar, quite dry, some sourness from Arabica style coffee, slight coconut notes. Low sweetness. Quite good stuff.

Rich aroma of chocolate and coffee. Opaque, dark brown colour. Smooth, chocolaty front with a lingering finish espresso. Heavy body with low carbonation. Really tasty brew.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is hugely chocolatey, with light espresso, and fudge. Flavour is loaded with chocolate fudge upfront, followed by light espresso. A huge fudge bomb. A bit too sludgy, but it works. Solid.

Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of coffee notes with some roasted malt and light coconut is pleasant enough. Taste is a good mix of roasted malt with some strong coffee notes and some coconut notes. Body is thinner then I was expecting with some good carbonation. Not bad but body is defiantly too thin.

Bottle (650 ml), split 3-ways. Thanks to L-d for this one! Dark brown with a medium beige head, some retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is fudgey with coconut, coffee, caramel, lactose-like sweetness and hints of smoke. Taste is semi-sweet with coconut, soft coffee presence, hints of berries, caramel, mineral notes and fudge/chocolate. Medium-light body. On the thin side. Moderate carbonation. A bit oily mouthfeel. Good adjunct Porter, not artificial and rather easy to drink. The coconut is particularly well integrated. It’s a bit thin and lack depth though.

650ml bottle. Pours black with a tinge of burgundy when held up to the light with a cocoa coloured head. On the nose, cocoa, molasses, dark roast coffee, faint butterscotch, and roasted malts. Taste wise, medium sweet with the coffee right there up front, dark chocolate, and lots of black licorice notes that leads= into light coffee notes, faint cigar, a brief glimpse of coconut (it’s there, but near the finish), light burnt sugar notes, and a dry coffee bitterness with some citrus pith in the finish. This is awesome, and remarkably flavourful for 6.5%.

pours hazy dark brown with a creamy beige head offering some retention and lacing. bittersweet chocolate, burnt caramel - gently smoked, integrated toasted/torrefied coconut, coffee and cream - never vegetal; some sweetness - coconut and burnt cherry jam; english yeast, minerals. moderate carbonation, medium body- oily; semi-sweet woodsy-coffee-spicy finish. solid coffee coconut porter.

A soft tan head on a near black body. A vibrant nose features fresh ground coffee, cocoa and a touch of cream. This baby is a cut above. Definitely features roasted coconut, smooth milk chocolate, macaroons, cream and hints of dark berries and nuts. Appealing density, mid-range carbonation. Vibrant definable tastes that are still subtle and well blended.
