In short: A fruity-grassy blond IPA, clean but yeasty, low on malts, refreshing. Very enjoyable session beer.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed fresh a few days after receiving the bottle from blankboy, thanks a lot Paul.
The look: Cloudy orange-blond body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: The moderately hoppy noes has bright fruits (clementines, pineapples) as well as some wet grass, dried yellowed grass and floral notes. Most striking feature of the taste is how timid the malt bill is. Discreet dry wheaty crackers, a slightly sweet fruity flavour akin to breakfast juice (pineapples, clementines, apples). A clean bitterness of medium intensity that adds sun dried yellowed grass and dried countryside field flowers to the citrusy hops. I didn’t get the “Belgian” part of this beer described as a Belgian IPA by the brewery, yes it is yeasty but not particularly Belgian in nature, no more Belgian than any unfiltered yeasty “normal” IPA I’ve had. I usually don’t care much for yeasty IPAs with timid malts but somehow I really enjoyed this one, simple, clean, refreshing, bright, highly sessionnable. Audrey Hopburn, funny name, but if Great Lakes makes a wild ale and doesn’t call it Brett Pitt then I don’t understand their naming convention.

650ml bottle. Golden orange in colour with a thin but lasting white head, good lacing. The aroma is of tropical fruits, citrus, pineapple and froral hops. The flavour is of pineapple, citrus and tropical fruits, some yeast and bitterness. Light bitterness in the mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy. Another nice new beer from Great Lakes. I’m loving these Belgian IPA’s. Strangebrewer (1297) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 14, 2016

Bottle - had about 5 min before post-okto passout. Pours a veiled copper-orange with a resilient white head. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon. Flavor is grapefruit, lemon. Finish is lime, lemon.

Smells slightly yeasty, earthy hops, and herbal. Taste is pretty big, hoppy, bitter, dry, slightly astringent finish, good carbonation, medium bodied, yeast, etc. It’s a good one. jksipa (917) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 30, 2015
Finally rating after several bottles which I enjoyed too much to stop and type. Hazy medium gold with a small white head leaving patchy lace. Nose is juicy citrus and pine with some pear, pepper, light tropical fruit and caramel. Flavour is an excellent balance of light malt sweetness and a big hoppy bitterness with pepper for accent. Mouth is medium with average carbonation and a long dry bitter finish. Would love to see Great Lakes put the #10 on a bunch more tanks and keep cranking out quantity of everything in this series. Bouteille 650ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur dorée limpide, mousse blanche laissant une dentelle fuyante. Arôme d’agrumes, malt, levure, cornichons?, poivre vert. Goût de
malt, levure, bonne amertume, zeste de pomélo, houblon résineux. Carbonatation très élevée, corps moyen. codfishh (202) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 23, 2015
Hazy gold, thick fluffy head lots of lacing. Aroma has light Belgian phenolics, some citrus fruit comes in on the end. Sodacracker malt flavor, light bitterness, finish is dry. Hop flavor takes a back seat tot the Belgian phenolics, there’s still a touch of the cattiness I don’t like in Belgian ipas. Well made just not my favorite style.
