COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s been said that “Canada is the only country in the world that knows how to live without an identity.” This beer doesn’t help much with that crisis. From the fiercely irresponsible stereotypical image on the front of the can to the distinctly American style of the beer inside it – we’ve really made a mess of things. What have we done? Sorry.

HippyHop (720) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 8, 2014
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2014 This was better than I expected. Nose is citrusy, earthy, with a bit of sweetness. Big hit of fresh peach, too, which was really refreshing, and fairly unique for the style. Taste follows the nose, sweet with a hint of spice, with a nice dry finish. Really nice smooth, creamy mouth feel. Quite drinkable.

Pours a clear light copper colour with about a finger of white head. Right away I get aromas of apples, peaches, pine, honey and some floral notes. There are some interesting nuances in the aromas and flavours. The flavours are pine, honey, edible flowers and a hint of biscuit and malt. This has such a silky mouth feel it just glides down. This is a fabulous IPA and one of the best I’ve had in a while. I would put this one up there with Amsterdam’s Boneshaker and Muskoka’s Mad Tom. The fruit aromas and flavours are very pronounced and beautiful. The mouth feel is absolutely superb.

2014/07/12 - Pours a hazy, dark orange/copper colour with a small, off white, fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is caramel, grapefruit, citrus, pine and grassy notes. Taste is grapefruit, pine, biscuit and caramel. Mildly sweet and mildly bitter. Mouthfeel is thin to medium with soft arbitration and a crisp, mildly drying finish. Full of flavour, but light and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
