COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s been said that “Canada is the only country in the world that knows how to live without an identity.” This beer doesn’t help much with that crisis. From the fiercely irresponsible stereotypical image on the front of the can to the distinctly American style of the beer inside it – we’ve really made a mess of things. What have we done? Sorry.

Can. Pours clear gold with a white head.Moderate piney dank hop bitterness on a light pale malty base. Porch beer, baby. Really dope and high in crushability.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2011 [2751-20100207] Tap. Sweet sugary pancakes aroma. Clear, medium orange brown body with a long-lasting creamy white head and thick lacing. Bitter sugary hops flavour has a long bitter evergreen and grass hops finish. Medium-full body is very bitter. Wow, great body, great fresh bitter. Changes a bit as it warms: more wheatie sugars come out. Something clicked for me with this one. (7/4/9/4/15) 3.9

[3820B-20110710] Cask. Fresh orange hops aroma. Slightly hazy, orange brown body with a quick bubbly off-white head. Lovely bitter hoppy orange notes in the flavour with a long aftertaste. Medium body. Drinkable, sessionable, delicious! (8/3/8/4/15) 3.8

Smells like floral hops with some grapefruit, even grape. Colour is blond hazy, good lacing. Good head retention. Taste has more hops and fruitiness. Faint but not unpleasant sourness. This beer is wonderful - a great, original pale ale, so much more than the standard hops and malt standard. Among the better APAs I’ve tasted. On cask at Castro’s Lounge.

Can kindly donated by Netty, many thanks. Unclear orange golden color with medium persistent white head. Nice piney, citrus hoppy aroma. taste, solid malty base followed by nice portion of hops with grapefruit, pines, grapefruit zest, lemon. Nice long hoppy bitter finish. Good.

Can at home. Trade from TheJester. Pours almost clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is passion fruit, citrus, light peach and caramel. The flavour is citrussy with notes of fresh fruit, caramel and some resin. Bitter fruity finish. Lovely brew.

Can shared by a friend. Pours a clear gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma of earthy, oniony and piney hops with some malt. Malty flavor with a bitter earthy hop finish. Seems like they did fine with aroma and bittering hops, but didn’t do much on the flavor hop.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2015
From my Ontario trip. +++ Sampled from a 473 ml can this beer poured a vibrant golden color with a huge creamy-soapy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweet and had moderate vague fruity and floral hops. The flavor was bitter and tangy with citric, fruity and leafy floral hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

(Rating #5978)

lusikka (7814) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 28, 2014
473 ml can. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a beautiful lacy white head. Aroma of citrus, some harsh grainy notes and mango. Flavour of harsh grainy malts, pine, citrusy bitterness, dried fruits and grass. Medium bodied, harsh mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Not as fresh as I hoped for, but still good.
