This has been one of my favorite beers since the very first time I tried it. Opened my eyes to a lot of other great Canadian pale ales. Great brew! HopsandBolts (258) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2014
Pours a clear light copper colour with about a finger of white head. Right away I get aromas of apples, peaches, pine, honey and some floral notes. There are some interesting nuances in the aromas and flavours. The flavours are pine, honey, edible flowers and a hint of biscuit and malt. This has such a silky mouth feel it just glides down. This is a fabulous IPA and one of the best I’ve had in a while. I would put this one up there with Amsterdam’s Boneshaker and Muskoka’s Mad Tom. The fruit aromas and flavours are very pronounced and beautiful. The mouth feel is absolutely superb. dansway07 (2) - TORONTO, Ontario, CANADA - APR 7, 2015 does not count
One of the best beers around and for a most reasonable price ($2.50 for a tall can). This has become my go-to beer of choice and I would highly recommend it to anyone! bortology (35) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 31, 2011
Interesting. I was not sure what to make of the name. I get that you are Crazy, mad, insane, ect and that makes it hoppy....
This is a nice pale ale session beer.

It’s now in cans. This is a well hopped beer with smooth aftertaste. The aroma is relatively mild for a pale ale, but the hops make a strong impression on the tongue. Hidden_Pooch (518) - Stratford, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - NOV 8, 2014
A very greasy looking can fools you of what is inside. I guess had the older looking version. Pours a light amber with a white head. Aroma is of pine, citrus, tropical hops, and mango . Tastes of pine, citrus, light resin, bread, and mango. Has a light body with average carbonation and light bitterness. A superb beer, good thing they changed the look of the can. 473 mL Can. Deep gold body with a rich foamy and tenacious white head that leaves a set of foamy ribs on the side of the glass as it is sipped. Pungent resiny hops and a hint of grapefruit rind and a soupçon of spruce make up the aroma. Pale malts and resiny hops dominate in the flavor; resiny hops and grapefruit rind in the aftertaste and finish. A fine Canadian brew that I’ll ask for more of. torontosudz (6) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 16, 2013 does not count
very nice, drinkable IPA - perfect amount of bitterness and wonderful fresh aroma. slightly danky aftertaste but in a good way. UXO (1896) - CANADA - OCT 25, 2014
Pours clear medium gold with two fingers of fluffy white head diminishing gradually to a thick cap, patchy lacing (4/5). Nose is bright citrus and mango, light resin and pine, with a light caramel and bready malt background (8/10). Taste is low sweetness and moderate to strong citrusy bitter, building pepperiness (8/10). Light to medium body, moderate to low sustained carbonation, lingering bitter finish (5/5).
Another light(er), easy-drinking APA/IPA. Lighter and without the slight harshness of, for example, My Bitter Wife - but also not a DIPA, and with the associated significantly lower ABV. Loads of juicy, citrusy hops make this a very enjoyable and well-behaved thirst quencher. Well worth the cognitive dissonance detailed on the back of the can - a “fiercely irresponsible stereotypical image” on the can, but a “distinctly American style” of beer inside it. I’ll deal with my national identity crisis while I enjoy the beer. Sorry. (17/20)
