COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Its been said that Canada is the only country in the world that knows how to live without an identity. This beer doesnt help much with that crisis. From the fiercely irresponsible stereotypical image on the front of the can to the distinctly American style of the beer inside it weve really made a mess of things. What have we done? Sorry.

Bought in the can at the brewery retail store. This is a very good brew. If you like hoppy beers but not too bitter this is for you. Im impressed what you can get in a can these days. Its a pretty tame dry hopped American IPA. My palate tells me about 35-45 IBU so its mild tasting. Plenty of Cascade hop flavour. Good amount of caramel malt in the background. The packaging and labelling really sucks (sorry GLB) but I suppose its what is inside that matters. A good value!

Definitely one of Canadas best pale ales. Despite this being labelled as "seasonal" I consider this their "standard brew" and it shows how strong they are at their craft. Does not have a hint of the taste of Etobicoke. Nicely hopped nicely balanced. Clap clap clap.

Can: Pour was medium gold with a thick white head. aroma was tropical fruit, some citrus as well, biscuits and honey. flavour was more of the same, bready malt, light caramel, tropical fruit, grapefruity citrus presence. Only a light bitterness to the finish for me though.

Can (473 ml). Extra from TheJester, thanks Andy! Slightly hazy golden/amber with a medium off-white head, good retention and good lacing. Aroma is of citrus, malt and floral hops... simple yet effective. Taste is slightly sweet with citrus, floral notes, malt and a light bitter finish. Light to medium body. Good carbonation. Dry finish. Very good American Pale Ale. Drinkable and well balanced. A tad too malty, but still really enjoyable.

CANUCKLEHEAD! The cask, dry-hopped version of Crazy Canuck is an absolute joy. In Ontario only Great Lakes and Durham seem to consistently turn out fantastic cask versions of their hoppy ales. Incredibly sessionable with a strong hop bite that somehow still leaves your taste buds intact. I could drink this all night, and have.
