500mL can, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a hazy bronze with a medium white foamy head. Aroma is very inviting, bringing out both Belgian and IPA notes, with floral hops, Belgian yeast, and pine - thankfully not hinting at much sweetness. Flavour is similar and really well-balanced between the two styles, with equal parts Belgian yeast and piney floral hops. Just enough of a malt backbone to hold it all together. Mouthfeel is creamy, dry, and slightly yeasty on the finish. A most excellent hybrid beer. Lubiere (13771) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2013
A hazed amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with smooth candy sugar, fruity esters, incense, and resinous hops. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of banana notes, cloves, eugenol, and floral hops, with light alcohol burn. On tap at Arrow and Loon. Unique and tasty. Orange and little head but much lace. Full mouthfeel of malt and yeast. Cloves driven but other spices noticed in the nose. Above average carbonation. Satisfying.A beer discovery. having a great lakes beer at the Rhino, a few brewers and owners there. ken taps me on the shoulder, asks me what i am drinking and what I think. Other people talk to me. Back to Ken and he asks what i think of this particular beer, if I have had it. Tells me its on for sure now little batch at Bryden’s. He himself never had it. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 24, 2011
2011-06-24. Hazy orange body with a nice foamy white head. 4+ Hoppy aroma is interesting, fruity with a vaguely floral character. Light yeasty profile - Belgian yeast? A light not quite spicy grass character, kiss of banana like esters? The overall flavour is sweeter than I expected, and less of a hop bomb. Fruity yeasty notes are almost like Orval meets Weiss beer with a healthy side of hops. Very interesting citrus, oranges or sweet lemon peel. Not sure I have had anything quite like this before to be honest, rather unique. Smooth average plus bodied palate dances on the tongue. 3+ Enjoyable. A bright hazy yellow pour with a thick white head. The nose has a lot of tropical citrus and spicy yeast. Fresh and fruity with a nice softly hoppy finish. Really solid.

[3772-20110623] Tap. Fruity pineapple grass yeast aroma. Murky, orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Blood orange hops and thick pulpy malt flavour with a long heavy orange peel aftertaste and something like the sweet herb stevia. Medium-full body. Great orange characteristics throughout, quite tasty. (7/4/8/4/14) 3.7

Nice package. Pours orange with good radical and lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast, some florals, light booze. Comes together well. Light sweet malt finish either a little booze. Finishes with some tang and citrus. Tap at Arrow and Loon . blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 12, 2013
[Can at ’The Rhino Fall Beer & Cider Festival 2013’.] I’ve had this many times and surprisingly I’ve never rated it, until now. Pours a hazy orange-copper with an average size frothy white head. Aroma is awesome, Belgian yeast along with lots of hops and some tropical fruit. Lovely flavour, also of Belgian yeast, lots of hops and tropical fruit along with a long, big bitter finish. Alcohol is hidden. Medium bodied. A great Belgian IPA! swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - DEC 23, 2011
bottle from Lackey, thanks Mike. Golden orange pour. Big aroma of herbal, sorachi ace like notes, mentholyptic, Belgian fruity yeastiness, herbal floral bitterness. Coconut/dill with great Belgian characteristics. Very nice HogTownHarry (6622) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - SEP 19, 2012
December 8, 2011 - on draught at Volo. Hazy amber-gold with a decent creamy off-white head. Smells of that sharp, sort of sweet Belgian yeast, a hint of lemon bitterness, vaguely fruity and spicy, mostly alcohol and sharp spice. Taste follows, a little buttery (not diacetyl butter, more like hot popcorn, which is odd) - more fruit and fruit zest, I got a little rhubarb and unripe raspberry. extremely thick, acidic, decent carbonation, and increasing bitterness and less fruit in the finish, although it does stay tart and dry.
