Ta Joe. Clear golden pour witg a frothy head and clinging lace. Gorgeous aroma of grapefruit hop and gummy bears. Lovely fruit hop, peach, mango and squash with a pinapple finish. Refreshing beer. Sweet amd fruity. Great creation. kevinsenn (2209) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 6, 2013
Lucky enough to try on tap at the Bent Elbow. Hazy yellow, foamy white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, citrus and tropical fruits. Taste: Belgian spice, spine, sweet fruity hops, and a bitter finish. Thick body, great mouthfeel. Enjoyed this one - well done Great Lakes and Black Oak, this is why I love you both! blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 12, 2013
[Can at ’The Rhino Fall Beer & Cider Festival 2013’.] I’ve had this many times and surprisingly I’ve never rated it, until now. Pours a hazy orange-copper with an average size frothy white head. Aroma is awesome, Belgian yeast along with lots of hops and some tropical fruit. Lovely flavour, also of Belgian yeast, lots of hops and tropical fruit along with a long, big bitter finish. Alcohol is hidden. Medium bodied. A great Belgian IPA! Freaky_tiki (1240) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 26, 2013
This brew is something of a holy grail for me. I’ve been questing for a local hop bomb that drops nearly everything but the hops. This delivers: a punchy, boozy hop bomb hung on the flimsiest pretence of balance. Pour at Sauce explodes in a fury of aroma. I’m getting a busted nose of citrus, torn orange peel & grates rind. Taste is sharp with a staggering wallop of hops, and a sharp, almost vitamin c like after burn on the tongue. Unlike anything I’ve had before. yrstruly (333) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 15, 2013
Pours gold with a thin, smooth head and lots of lacing. Aroma of fruity and resinous hops, as well as tons of Belgian yeast characters. Taste is fairly dry up front, lots of hop flavour appropriate carbonation and a firm, smooth bitter hop finish. Really good!

Cloudy amber pour with mountains of sticky head that has an orange hue. Loads of big citrus notes on the nose with lots of pine needles and spice. There’s something more tropical in there as well. There’s even more complexity to be had on the palate with more yeasty influences.
Hopefully this one comes back in a bigger run. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 13, 2013
A bright hazy yellow pour with a thick white head. The nose has a lot of tropical citrus and spicy yeast. Fresh and fruity with a nice softly hoppy finish. Really solid. pfriesen (113) - Richmond Hill, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2013
Cloudy golden pour with light lacing. Tropical fruit and orange blossom on the nose, sugarcane and white cherry flavours dominate the body mcberko (17809) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 14, 2013
500mL can, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a hazy bronze with a medium white foamy head. Aroma is very inviting, bringing out both Belgian and IPA notes, with floral hops, Belgian yeast, and pine - thankfully not hinting at much sweetness. Flavour is similar and really well-balanced between the two styles, with equal parts Belgian yeast and piney floral hops. Just enough of a malt backbone to hold it all together. Mouthfeel is creamy, dry, and slightly yeasty on the finish. A most excellent hybrid beer. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 18, 2013
Frothy and hazy brew with honey like colour. Hoppy pineapple aroma with some esters and honey notes. On the palate those hops come through with aplomb and provides citrus and pineapple notes but those estery belgian yeasty notes come trhough providing sweetness and vanillin. Overall one of the better Belgian IPA’s i’ve had.
