[4658-20120815] Tap. Orange pine leaf hops aroma. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter buttery pine resin flavour has a lingering bitter leaf bite. Medium body. Great balance, delicious hops profile. (7/4-/8/4/16) 3.9

2012-08-15. Bright lightly hazy orange body, modest off white head. 3+4 Lovely first sip is quite hoppy with lots of pleasant sweet citrus up front, orange, then lemon with a funky not quite cannabis leafy green hop overtone. Slowly gains bitterness as the glass goes on, and leafy hop character grows through the middle and into the finish. Leafy green hops with a light earthy character. 7++ Smooth average plus palate. 3+ First sniff is quite citrusy, the second takes on more of an earthy leafy green hops. 7+ I personally liked the initial citrus character much more than the leafy green hops that emerged later, Pretty solid IPA. On tap at Volo, Toronto

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2012 Draught at Volo. Pours a slightly hazy deep orange-copper with a small diminishing frothy white head. Lovely aroma of hops, fruity and catty, resiny and piney too, along with some fruit and caramel malt in the back. Delicious hoppy flavour, all the aforementioned hops, along with some fruit and malt way in the back. Nice bitter finish. Medium bodied. Great stuff, very enjoyable.

pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Thanks to swoopjones! Orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, some slight dill, fruity, zesty and herbal notes as well. Flavour is dill, grass, some zest, fruits and herbal and sweet malty notes. Balanced and nice. Pleasant IPA! Quite Sorachi Ace like hopping, this time in a surprisingly well working way.
bottle made for my 40th bday by lackey & jon graham. Best present ever. Orange with golden hues. Citrus & sorachi dill in the aroma, along with coconut and light mint. Flavor is sorachi dilliness, light coconut, lemon zest. Very nice bitterness. Very good jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. Deep amber color with a medium white head. Te nose is light peaches and grassy hops, some cereal sweetness, canteloupe and cherry. The taste is light tobacco with a sweet cherry shock on the finish. Light orchard fruit hops. Medium body, decently active carbonation. OK.
