Herbal aroma with scent of yeast, and bread. Hazy gold colour. Flavour of green tea, ginseng, malt, and honey. Mild sweetness with a slight bitterness at the end. Light body with mild carbonation. Green tea flavour is not as prominent as I expected but still, a pleasant sipping beer.

Pours a frothy off-white head and has a cloudy golden amber appearance. Pretty weak lacing. Light malty aromas, citrus hops, quite mild spices as well. The green tea flavours is pretty noticeable. Some light spices and oranges come through as well. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Quite an astringent sensation on the palate. Not too bad. Tea flavour is apparent enough but could have had more bite overall.

Bottled. I found this bottle in my friend’s mom’s basement in Toronto. I have no idea how long it has been fridged there haha. Anyway, I smell green tea and some ginger, no hops. Color is unfoltered thick light brown like a green tea soda. Taste is bitter green tea, ginger with a bitter finish. Overall nothing special but I am not sure about the BBD.

Unclear brown of color with a beige head. An aroma of grass, hops, fresh, sweets - butter?, grapefruit and pines. A flavor of grass, grapefruit, bitter, sweets and fresh.

(bottle) hazy pale copper colour with a medium tall white head; faint aroma of caramel and bread; watery palate; faint refreshing flavour; nothing bad but very watery in every aspect

Gimicky. Glad I paid only $2 for a taster at the Rhino summer fest and didn’t have to drink a full bottle of this. What’s the point? Golden cloudy with a little head and lacing. Some green tea. I guess it stops cancer but otherwise? Ughh.

650 mL Bottle. yellow-gold body with a rocky white head settling to a thin film leaving stringy lace. Aroma of grains, sweet light malt, bread, yeast, and herbs. Green tea does accompany the light sweet malts, herbal notes, and not-too-imposing hops in the flavor. There is a clean herbal finish that gives it a refreshing character. Its relatively light octane makes it a good summertime beer.

This beer pours a somewhat cloudy straw colour, with a thin white head. The aroma is of green tea, ginseng, and grassy. The taste has some green tea notes, blended with ginseng and vegetable. The aftertaste is slightly medicinal. Not a bad brew, but not the greatest neither.

Bottle. Cloudy orange, white head. Aroma is mostly citrus, some grassy notes. Soft, watery mouthfeel. Mildly bitter throughout. I got the tea on the palate, but nothing of the ginseng. Clean finish. Not very exciting, but refreshing on a hot day.
