Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide, moderate hoppy, pine, orange - citrus, hop butter notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, peel bitter bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, 65cl, courtesy of Enjoyit. A hazy, golden beer with a small, off-white head. IPA-like aroma with pinecones and some lemon peel. Malty sweetness. The flavor is quite bitter and hoppy with citrus peel and grapefruit. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Lasting, bitter finish with grapefruit and citrus peel. A quite nice one. Can’t really say I found the tea and ginseng in this one. 110129 Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 11, 2009

Bottle @ Ulfborg Weekend, Jan 2011. Pours clear golden with a small off white head. Very grassy and bitter. Punchy hoppy nose and flavor. Dry, crisp and smooth. Papillon (400) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 12, 2013
650 mL Bottle. yellow-gold body with a rocky white head settling to a thin film leaving stringy lace. Aroma of grains, sweet light malt, bread, yeast, and herbs. Green tea does accompany the light sweet malts, herbal notes, and not-too-imposing hops in the flavor. There is a clean herbal finish that gives it a refreshing character. Its relatively light octane makes it a good summertime beer. pootzboy (1736) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 26, 2010
Rerating after last year’s diacetyl-laced samples.
Bottle: fresh from brewery.
Pours a light protein hazed light gold ale in the glass. A 2 finger frothy cap laces well. Aroma is demure light fruity tones over sweet grains and grassiness...delicate pale ale aroma with gree tea leafy aromas.
Light bodied, gritty mouth feel. Dulcet biscuit malts mingle with pear and herbal hops up front, finish is clean, puckering tart with the green tea and hops joining forces. Very refreshing, dry, quenching clean tasting ale. Great for plus 30 weather.

Unclear brown of color with a beige head. An aroma of grass, hops, fresh, sweets - butter?, grapefruit and pines. A flavor of grass, grapefruit, bitter, sweets and fresh. wilderthanyou (758) - Guelph, CANADA - MAR 8, 2009
Wow, I’m actually pretty happy with this beer. Pours a light hazy honey colour with a thin white cap. The aroma is straight up green tea, with some lighter notes of mint, bread, and something else...maybe boiled vegetable. The flavour is a pretty good reflection of that, light bodied, green tea is the baseline flavour with a touch of mint, and a grainy bread like flavour. I see most people feel that the green tea is a small player in terms of the profile of this beer, I feel otherwise, I think it’s really what makes this an interesting brew. Maybe I just got a really fresh bottle or something.
