COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
News of any new hop coming from the Yakima Valley perks the ears of IPA brewers everywhere, but, with Citra, things were different. The buzz was bigger. As Citra’s wave rolled across the land from the west coast we waited... and waited. Finally it crested, and a sample crashed into our pilot system. After brewing with it all the buzz made sense. Comments ranged from "Well that changes the game" to "It’s so good it feels like we’re cheating." Today we procure as much as Citra as we can to bring you as much of this IPA as our little brewery can muster. All hail Citra!

Aroma is crisp and fresh hops with light grass and citrus notes. Taste is once again citrus, but hey, #citraislove . Pale malts stand back for the citra attack, but still manages to carry the overwhelming tropical fruits and citrus. Awesome.

Another great beer from the GLB. Had this many times on tap over the summer and fall months of 2016. The enjoyable taste just had me keep wanting another sip. Lots of citra fruit flavour’s. Was also available in tall can 473ml at LCBO and the brewery for a period of time at around $3 I believe. Yummy beer, fair price, dam enjoyable!

473ml can. Pours gold, hazy, small white head on top. Citra hops in the nose, a little dank, tropical and fruity. Taste - citrus, tropical fruit, lots of hops. Bitter finish. Enjoyable IPA.

Slightly hazy golden color with off-white head. Aroma is fruity with some dank hop notes. Taste follows with grassy, slightly vegetal hops, some peaches, quite bitter on the finish. Medium to full bodied, quite smooth on the palate. Really good IPA overall.

Can - Sweet tropical and citrus notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Candy and hoppy sweetness. Solid.

Cloudy golden-orange color, medium sized head. Very nice citrusy and resiny hops, better in the aroma, while the flavor seems not so fresh; dry mouthfeel, biscuity malts.
Very nice.

Had this a while ago and forgot to rate so this is a ballpark. Pours orange with a full white head. Aromas of citrus. Taste is oranges and light malt. Very hoppy. Tasty!

Canned. Wonderful flowery perfume aroma with some oak. The taste is impressive as well. Subtle but with a long strong finish. Hazy orange body, medium white head.

473ml can @ home. Pours a hazy deep orange with a fairly thick white head. Nose is citrus with hints of grass. Flavour is a piney citrus explosion, with a light malty backbone. Great IPA.
