COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The weather channel describes Lake Effect snow as a mass of sufficiently cold air moving over a body of water creating an unstable temperature profile in the atmosphere. Who cares. This beer, however, has nothing to do with that drivel. It was inspired by a summer spent drinking heaps of IPAs on a stoop on Elmwood Ave. in Buffalo, NY.

Can sample at a tasting at Lior Ds place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy amber-gold with a foamy head. A little skunky, faint grapefruit aroma. Bitter, dry taste, a little mint and leafy. Fizzy, medium body, long, dry leafy finish.

Can sample at a tasting at Lior Ds place. Thanks Tom L. Nice cloudy yellow with a white head. Great aroma of tropical fruity and "green" hops, slightly hop-pellet-like. Flavor is rather dry with "green" and fruity hops, bitter. Medium-bodied. Very nice.

Can from Lcbo A: passion fruit, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, citrusy App: milky pale lasting white head and great lacing. T/p: thin to med body with moderate long bitter finish. Soft to moderate carbonation. O: true unsweetened tropical juice. This is close to 2 months old, not super old but Im quite surprised by this. Its nicely hoppy, all in fruitiness. Silly me, I only took 2 of this. Next time it cross my path, Ill make sure to buy a sixer of it.

Bright and hazy pale gold-orange, on the lighter side for an IPA - likewise with the aroma. Much more hoppy and fruity than malty. Nice pine and grapefruit on the nose, which all the GLB pale ales seem to have. Subdued but noticeable tropical fruit, maybe a bit of banana as well. Malt is fairly low but theres enough to give it body. Taste manages to be refreshing and flavourful - starts off with lightly bready malt and grain, then turns very sweet with tangerine, mango and grapefruit. Piney finish is smooth. Palate is bubbly for an IPA, but suitable for the product. Karma Citra and Thrust have this beat, but its still a happy day when I find this on the shelves.

Pours cloudy gold colour with a decent white head. Aroma is fruity. Taste is pretty well balanced with a sweet light grainy malt backbone. Notes of orange, grapefruit, resin, and possibly onion. A surprisingly crisp, dry finish. Light to medium bodied with plenty of carbonation. Very easy drinker for so much flavour.
