COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"I was once a great entertainer who thrilled throngs of children with dance. Then my puppet master became a CGI whiz. Now I’m an inanimate object - a piece of cloth with asbestos stuffing and lifeless strings. I have no pulse and no soul. I do, however, have a rabid desire for revenge. Beware puppet master - I know where you live..."

May 27, 2014 - at Bar Hop, on draught (and MANY MANY times in cans and on draught). Very hazy gold with a decent creamy/foamy beige head, nice lacing - lovely. Aroma is citrus zest, light tropical fruit, floral bitterness and a little lemongrass - light fresh sunny cereal grain. Catty, fully attenuated bitter taste - zero alcohol with a nice Sauvin-like bite to it - solid session - and also nice grain character. Airy, solid carbonation, dry with a medium-long low-level bitter non-coating finish - a little grapefruit and lemon zest in the linger - so so so drinkable.

Mild sweetness with lemon zest and grapefruit. Considering all the great beers from GLB, this one doesn’t stand out for me.

473ml can from the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy light golden hue with a white head. On the nose, fresh pineapple, passion fruit, light resinous notes, grapefruit, and faint hard water notes. Taste wise, light bodied with a mild sweetness and resinous notes up front with grapefruit, light caramel, and faint peach that heads into watery mineral heavy bitterness with light fruity notes in the bitter finish. This is a pretty solid session IPA, and definitely at the top of the heap when it comes to OCB options. Once again, well done Great Lakes.

DuffMan (10549) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 17, 2015
On tap @ Brothers Beer Bistro, Ottawa. Pale lemony yellow, lasting white head. Fantastic dank foresty hops with citrus undertones, light crackery malts. How does this not get more love in the ratings?! Spot fucking on for my palate.

czar (9250) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 9, 2015
pour @ ottawa craft beer festival. hazy light golden with a reviving off-white cap, nice lacing. danky mangoes, bursting citrus, strawberries, lean pale maltiness, touch of toasted specialty malts (!), clean yeast action. average to light carbonation, light body - watery; balanced spicy-tropical-citrusy finish. like thrust!’s little brother. too bad mouthfeel is m.i.a. because this would be darn serious. good stuff.

samzim (434) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 8, 2015
Aromas of grass, spice, and light malt. Clear straw colour. Bready front with notes of nuts and coffee and a mild bitter finish. Light body with a lively carbonation. Drinkable, but it’s character stays too true to its name.
