Bottled bought at the LCBO in Toronto/Canada. Overall a very good wife! Aroma of citrus hops, some leeches, not so nose piercing, but good. Color is golden and copper, head off white, one inch thick, but vanished quiclky. Taste ist nice citrusy, grapefruit and full bodied with a long bitter hops finish. A very well balanced ipa. Bottle: Poured an orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma consists of bitter hops with nice citrus notes and light piney undertones. Taste is also dominated by bitter hops with some nice citrus notes and some light caramel malt notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Very solid IPA that should be made available more regularly. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 15, 2014
A lighter shade of gold, pours a very rocky solid cap leaving many lacings.Very citrusy nose also has tropical fruits and a load of pine and just a touch of caramel. Quite a nice mix. Like the title suggests this is quite bitter. Actually very bitter and the fruity sweetness helps that along nicely. Its medium bodied though at times seems medium-full. Long bitter finish like I just ate a grapefruit. A winner from this brewer. OntBeerDrinker (513) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2014
Smell’s of sweet malt & hops.
Taste: Hop resin liquid, butterscotch/caramel malt sweetness. Light candy citrus. Doe’s not smell or taste 88 IBU’s. Medium bodied. @ times a bit refreshing. Easy drinking. GOOD STUFF!!!! CHEER’S!!!! :) OOKPIKABLE (194) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 24, 2014
Bottle purchased at LCBO. BDisappointing: essentially an IPA with little aroma or flavour.

Amber with an off white head. Bitter, cat pee, pine, and sticky. Chewy palate, fresh hops, bitter, florals, grapefruit and an easy finish. Helsdon (428) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 23, 2014
Pours a cloudy golden, finger of foam that sheets down quickly. Heavy on the hops with a nose of citrus and pine. First taste blasts you with bitter hops,. but a couple of gulps later it smooths out for a little grass and citrus to work into that overall bitter profile. I know that IPA are all the rage, but he who adds the most hops shouldn’t win, and this beer, while not bad, isn’t a winner with me. Randy4Beer (515) - - MAY 23, 2014
Pours a lovely cloudy amber/orange. Thin white head. Appears to be unfiltered.
Massive amounts of grapefruit and citrus exploding on the nose. Some pine for sure and you can just smell the tart bitterness wafting off of this one.
On the palate a medium mouth feel, with a generous amount of citrus. A light finish of orange peel.
Overall this is a very high quality IPA and has a uniqueness going for it that I have not previously experienced in many IPAs. Great Lakes you have a definite winner on your hands with this one. mnurda (1305) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 15, 2014

Bottle. Deep orange pour with a medium head, good lacing. Great grapefruit aroma. Taste is citrus, grapefruit. Nice clean drinking, fairly bitter but not overpowering. Terrific IPA.
