I haven’t had an Orange Peel since the summer when they brew it but I think I’ve had enough on patios around Toronto to nail this review like I had one yesterday. First of all, this beer falls into a great catagory for me - flavorful, unique and crisp while remaining extremly drinkable. The beer looks great - a bold orange - and possesses a subtle malt and orange aroma. The flavor is again subtle orange - enough but not too much - with a nice malt backing. Nicely balanced. Can’t wait for patio season......this brew is under rated by some - big time. Why? rederic (3337) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 11, 2009
650ml bottle, hazy amber-orange hue, with an off-white head, sweet malty, kind of orange crush soft drink nose, with a tangerine, maderin, artificial orange flavored popsicle accent, with a hint of honeyed pale, toastey malt, with a zest orane peel aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasty raw graininess, honeyeish pale malt, zesty orange peel character, with a kind of vitamin C orange effervescent tablet flavor, with a flowery hop leafiness, leading towards a fruity, orange crush, bittering finish. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 29, 2008
bottle from Oakes and beershine. Pours a orange color with a white head. Aroma smells of fresh tangerines. Flavor hits with a nice dose of oranges and the orange peel imparts a really nice bitterness in the beer. This was a nice change and well worth seeking out.

Vibrant orangey colour. Orangey, apricotty aroma. Full of bitter orange peel flavour with slightly firm malts in the background. Finishes quite dry. Had on tap - maybe the bottles aren’t as good? Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 18, 2008
Draught at Victory cafe, Toronto. Lovely orange color with haze. Nice off-white head, served in pint glass. Fresh aroma is more spice than fruit but does have a dry orange aroma. Crisp hoppy finish that accepts and integrates the orange peel bitterness exceptionally well. Incredibly refreshing, surprisingly so. Soft, silky mouthfeel. Hits the spot in many ways, had no idea what to expect from this. Becomes juicier with every sip. Really enjoyable, oozing with zest. Sessionable quaffer that hits the H-(hop) spot without going overboard. This was one of the big surprises on the trip to Toronto. mullet2007 (209) - St. Johns, Newfoundland, CANADA - SEP 16, 2008
Pours a nice deep amber colour almost a faint brown, with a nice rocky tan head. Nose is pretty tame, mostly caramel malts, and a tiny bit of orange. There’s a nice undertone of grassy hops too. Flavour is very similar, very malty and sweet, with pretty strong hop bitterness. There is some nice orange peel, it’s not overpowering, but it is stronger than you might imagine, and it’s pretty nice. Carbonation is low, which I’ve been enjoying more and more lately, and it’s reasonably chewy. I like it. CapFlu (5128) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 1, 2008
(650ml bottle) Purchased at the LCBO Rideau in Ottawa for $4.95. Pours a copper body with an almond-coloured head. Nose of orange and mild honey. Flavour of spiced malt with a tart citrus base. Not really that bad but a tad expensive for the quality. Average. Pyrozoid (361) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 11, 2008
