Nice slightly hazy orange/copper coloured body with a nice thinnish slightly white head. Aroma of nice spice, squash, pumpkin, nutmeg (big time) and a light bit of caramel. Light to Medium-bodied; Very mild spiciness with some nutmeg, raw sugar and squash with a thinnish lemon taste at the end. Aftertaste shows just about nothing, perhaps some mild cinnamon and nutmeg. Overall, Iím not sure if this is the same batch that everyone else had - but this is pretty bland and definitely not impressive when compared to other beers in the style. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from the LCBO (Summerhill) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 11-October-2009, sampled at home in Washington on 05-November-2009. 650ml bottle, amber color, with a thick white head, yeasty, spicy nose of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, gingerbread, with a toasted, biscuity malt, bready dough, pumpkin skin accent, and light pumpkin pie aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp, faint fruity pumpkin, spicy character of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, gngerbread, with a biscuity, caramel malt note and a hint of cookie dough, with mild pumpkin skin fruitiness, and faint flowery hop grassy accent, leading towards a toasted malty, spicy cinnamon, lingering hop bitterness finish. Bomber courtesy of matt7215. Pours copper with a nice, lasting white head. Smells of pumpkin pie spice, fresh pumpkin flesh, caramel, grassy. Tastes of fresh pumpkin, a touch of lemon, spice, pepper, earthy, crisp. This brewer does a great job incorporating flavors and aromas I associate with cutting into fresh pumpkins. Excellent! Nutmeg and allspice ale aroma. Golden with thick white head that thins quickly with a little lacing. Dry, bitter, nutmeg, allspice taste. Concentrated on the spices but they forgot the pumpkin.

650mL bottle. Not a bad beer, but not a big fan of pumpkin beers in general. Orange colour, small white head. Nose of cloves, cinnamon, and pumpkin. Medium body, taste of more pumpkin and spice, relatively sweet. patricks110 (2491) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 12, 2009
An interesting beer. Pour is golden orangey with a medium sized head with no lacing. Aroma is spicy with hitns of allspice, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, etc. Taste is slightly pumpkin with hints of spice. Overall, pretty good, but could have more Pumpkin taste. fredthecat (328) - CANADA - OCT 5, 2009
smells like cloves, a little bit of pumpkin, its amber with a white head that lasts, taste is clovey, allspice as the description says, fairly dry and hoppy, the pumpkin comes out more after warming up but is still kind of faint. is bubbly, bright easy drinking. pretty okay, but not for the price. decimator (51) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 30, 2009
650ml bottle (with a cool orange jack-o-lantern) poured into a pint glass. Poured a clear golden color with a bit of an orange tint. The 1" head didnít last long. The aroma is where this beer shined. Smells like pumpkin pie! Yum, I love pumpkin pie! Iím picking up plenty up desert spice aromas such as nutmeg, cloves & allspice and some sweet pumpkin flesh. After the first smell my expectations were high. I was a bit disappointed by the taste. Sure, thereís was a taste of pumpkin and desert spices among the sweet malts and light hops but it was quite mild. Certainly milder then the aroma indicated. Could have had more intensity, a bit more sweetness and more spiciness. Mouthfeel was that of an average beer. It didnít stand out for me. Itís was OK to drink. Made for a good desert beverage after my dinner. I donít hate this beer. I just think thereís room for improvement. Iíll probably have it again around Thanksgiving and/or Halloween. strowlands8 (209) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 25, 2009
Orangey/Dark Gold colour, smells like clove, with a big white head with pretty solid lacing Taste is of pumpkin and clove with a bit of light bitterness. Definitely pumpkin, pretty good to try but definitely not the best.
