Bomber from the lcbo in Niagara on the Lake, Americaís Hat. Pours a golden amber caped by a silkey off white head with maximum amount or retention. Gobs of bubbling carbonation gives it staying power. Nose has an inviting mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Taste is a powerful dose of cinnamon upfront followed by nutmeg. The bottles claims are "generous amount of pumpkin." I just donít see any pumpkin at all. Sweetness comes in afterward from pale and caramel malt. Medium body.
650ml brown bottle. Gold colour, hazy, average white head. Nose has cloves and cinnamon. Taste is earthy with cloves and some bitter notes. A decent pumpkin beer. ciocanelu (2461) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - JAN 3, 2017
Hazy yellow color with off-white head. Aroma has mostly spices associated with pumpkin pie but not really raw pumpkin. Taste has some spiced biscuits, grains and earthy hops with a light bitterness on the finish. Light body, medium carbonation. Overall itís decent but nothing really special. crazy_cat_lady (541) - - DEC 10, 2016
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2016 Draught at The Local. Light brown with a vague oranginess. No head to speak of. Smells faintly of pumpkin with a hint of vanilla and pie spices. Vague pumpkin pie flavour with some malt and biscuit and an odd astringent aftertaste. Iíve had this beer in previous years, and itís very inconsistent; some years are better than others, and this yearís isnít that great. Freaky_tiki (1220) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 31, 2016
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2016 Not my favourite genre of beer. Fridge getting low & this seemed a strategic choice (eg I love this brewery) but I kind of wish I could just take out the garish spices (that are so integral to this style) & enjoy the base beer. Pumpkin ok, but this is mostly just clove & cinnamon. My sweet nephew (who is also a body builder) Tristan loves this beer & cthulhu bless him but I just canít dig this. Of course, given the brewer & base beer, this is solid & better than most straight ahead pumpkin ales. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 2, 2016
Bottle:   Comes across as a very solid example of a Pumpkin Ale.   Soft sediment floating about in a orange haze, small white head, foamy, little lacing.   Bright nutmeg and soft clove on the nose that carries through onto the tongue.   Lingers quite a while after the finish.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Flavorful from start to finish.   Solid example.   Thanks Mike!

Bottled. Sweet artificial aroma, the taste has too much cinnamon. Not refreshing at all. ChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 21, 2016
Pours orange with an off white head. Aroma is a mixture of pumpkin pie and gingerbread. Taste is same as aroma with a dry finish. All around great beer, Iíll definitely be drinking this again. Bengibbs6 (65) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2015
It tastes like Christmas ale without the alcohol heat. Never again. Never, never again.

Bottled. Overall a very good pumpkin ale. Good balanced aroma of cinamon, pumpkin and ginger Taste is cinamon, pumpkin, ginger with a dry boozy finish. Refreshing. Anytime again! KoNrRiI (1489) - Ňrhus, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2015
0.65 bottle. Delicately hazy, gold color and a large, thick, white head. Aroma of spices is foremost with pumpkin and pale malts coming in second. Taste is balanced and does not strike with an avalanche of spices but rather slowly introduces all the components: pumpkin, spices, pale malts, some yeasts, cinnamon, carnations. Medium body, creamy texture, and a very soft carbonation. Finish is short, delicately sweet and just as unimposing as the rest. Overall a pleasant beer, an unusual breakout from the sea of pumpkin ales which have a more pungent aroma than pumpkins themselves.
