In our pursuit to bring you the most flavourful and unique beers possible, we are proud to release this tasty autumn ale. Handcrafted with an assortment of specialty malts and hops, we added a generous amount of pumpkin directly into the brew. Combine this with hints of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and allspice, and youíve got a beer that you wonít soon forget. Rich, satisfying and slightly spicy, our seasonal ale goes perfectly with your favourite dessert or traditional feast. But like fall, Pumpkin Ale comes but once a year!

Pours orange with an off white head. Aroma is a mixture of pumpkin pie and gingerbread. Taste is same as aroma with a dry finish. All around great beer, Iíll definitely be drinking this again.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2008 650 ml bottle - pours a clear amber, actually quite similar to the Orange Peel Ale, with a good sized white head that lingers for awhile and leaves some nice lace. Soft aromas of spice and and a caramel malt undertone. The flavours are herbal, earthy and spices like nutmeg and clove. Thereís a really nice biscuity quality in there as well. Delicate carbonation. This is a subtle, beautifully balanced pumpkin ale, and perfect for the season. I bought four bottles of this at the LCBO today, and I think I may be going back for more....This is Great Lakes best seasonal yet, and each one seems to get a bit better.....good job guys. Also, loooove the bottle.

A - Clear light amber/gold body with a nice fluffy light-tan head. Nice head retention and impressive lacing. The aroma is not a very strong one overall. Itís floral, with a nice pumpkin base, a fair amount of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove) and some caramel notes. The taste starts out with very pronounced pumpkin, followed by a moderate spiciness and a touch of caramel. Some floral hop bitterness was also present. The taste finished in a fair amount of spice notes, as well as some bitterness and light sweetness. The pumpkin taste gets stronger as the beer warms up. Overall, a good example of the style, and quite a tasty one, with just enough pumpkin and spices.

Pours a clear orange color with a medium off white head. Aroma has seasonal spices. Flavor has nice layers of spice, doughy malt...graham, and pumpkin...well done! Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is spicy and bitters slightly. Nice pumpkin beer!

Pale amber pour with a thick, tight laced white head. The aroma is lovely. Softly spicy with a mixture of nutmeg and allspice (fairly different from other brewers who tend to go with more cinnamon) and a little bit of light black pepper as well. Moderate palate with a nice touch of light sweetness and a bit of soft pumpkin character through the middle. Itís a pretty tasty autumnal ale.

Really liked this. Pours a dull....er...pumpkin colour. Smells like cloves and nutmeg. Pumpkin pie too. Sweet pumpkin pie flavours. Piney bitter finish. Lingering warm spices. What a nice brew.

Appearance: Pours a clear amber colour with lots of white head that lasts for a while. Aroma: Pumpkin, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon. Flavour: Pumpkin, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, hint of malt. Mouthfeel: Smooth with low carbonation. Overall: A very nice pumpkin ale with lots of pumpkin and spice aromas and flavours. I didnít detect much malt or hop presence and would have liked some to provide more balance. Still this is a nice beer worth trying.

A bit of a fizzy, thin white head on an unexpectedly light and transparent ginger ale-like body. The nose features brown sugar, cloves and nutmeg. A very nice pumpkin ale, with enough pumpkin, cloves and nutmeg to easily earn the name. The malt is bready on one level, but I do taste some seasonal pie crust as well! A hint of citrus hops livens up the taste profile. Light bodied but very flavourful. Nice balances. A great beer at the price!

I like pumpkin pie and this is pretty much pumpkin pie in a glass. One of the best pumpkin beers Iíve had.
