Bottled. Overall a very good pumpkin ale. Good balanced aroma of cinamon, pumpkin and ginger Taste is cinamon, pumpkin, ginger with a dry boozy finish. Refreshing. Anytime again! ChadPoole (479) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 21, 2016
Pours orange with an off white head. Aroma is a mixture of pumpkin pie and gingerbread. Taste is same as aroma with a dry finish. All around great beer, I’ll definitely be drinking this again. VeloVampire (625) - Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 17, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2008 650 ml bottle - pours a clear amber, actually quite similar to the Orange Peel Ale, with a good sized white head that lingers for awhile and leaves some nice lace. Soft aromas of spice and and a caramel malt undertone. The flavours are herbal, earthy and spices like nutmeg and clove. There’s a really nice biscuity quality in there as well. Delicate carbonation. This is a subtle, beautifully balanced pumpkin ale, and perfect for the season. I bought four bottles of this at the LCBO today, and I think I may be going back for more....This is Great Lakes best seasonal yet, and each one seems to get a bit better.....good job guys. Also, loooove the bottle. DenisLD (87) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 22, 2009
A - Clear light amber/gold body with a nice fluffy light-tan head. Nice head retention and impressive lacing. The aroma is not a very strong one overall. It’s floral, with a nice pumpkin base, a fair amount of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove) and some caramel notes. The taste starts out with very pronounced pumpkin, followed by a moderate spiciness and a touch of caramel. Some floral hop bitterness was also present. The taste finished in a fair amount of spice notes, as well as some bitterness and light sweetness. The pumpkin taste gets stronger as the beer warms up. Overall, a good example of the style, and quite a tasty one, with just enough pumpkin and spices. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Pours a clear orange color with a medium off white head. Aroma has seasonal spices. Flavor has nice layers of spice, doughy malt...graham, and pumpkin...well done! Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is spicy and bitters slightly. Nice pumpkin beer!
