Gluepot (646) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2015
A bit of a fizzy, thin white head on an unexpectedly light and transparent ginger ale-like body. The nose features brown sugar, cloves and nutmeg. A very nice pumpkin ale, with enough pumpkin, cloves and nutmeg to easily earn the name. The malt is bready on one level, but I do taste some seasonal pie crust as well! A hint of citrus hops livens up the taste profile. Light bodied but very flavourful. Nice balances. A great beer at the price! CRock (259) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 14, 2015
I like pumpkin pie and this is pretty much pumpkin pie in a glass. One of the best pumpkin beers I’ve had. DerWeg (1689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 6, 2007
This is fucking delicious. A pint enjoyed at Volo was superbly spicy and smooth with a neat fruity kick of punpkin flavor that compliments the spiciness. Exactly the kind of quality experimentation I encourage Ontario brewmasters to venture towards. pootzboy (1755) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 13, 2007
Had a draft at the brewery but this rating is from a fresh bottle sample.
Poured a bright orange-amber with a 1 finger white cap...does not last long but makes a surface lace that laces the glass well enough.
Wonderful nose: pumpkin pie spices with toffee malts and some botanical mustiness ( the pumpkin)
Good mouth feel, silky and ample.
Big caramel malts in the front start to go sweet but the spice- hop astringence rushes in to balance very well, lovely spicy, malty lightly sweet middle with a sharp clean finish and light spice and bread after taste.
Well carried off Pumpkin ale....rich and satisfying but smooth and drinkable...best of the seasonals from this Brewer so far

650 ml bottle. pours dark orange with an average off white head. aromas of spice, hops and detectable pumpkin funk. flavours are good without complexity but its a little to thin. a nice seasonal ale but nothing overwhelming. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2007
Bottle LCBO tasting- Pours transparent orange with an off white cap of froth. Lots of spices in the aroma. Ginger and cinnamon pack the first punch, and nutmeg is the runner up. There’s some bready doughy aromas as well. Mild burnt malts. No real pumpkin aroma, but that’s ok, it’s nice. Very delicate spiced flavour, ginger and corriander, nutmeg, cinnamon with some mild rosemary and bitter hops. Mild tongue tingle in the finish, lots of spices and bitterness.
Good. Sammy (12335) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 28, 2007
Orange with a white head, and lacey. Spice including moderate pumpkin aroma. The taste is bold and a naturally above average carbonated. Tasty and one of the better pumpkins I have liked, drinkable. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 27, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2009 [716-20070928] Tap @ C’est What 2007 FOSB (Toronto, ON). Bubblegum fruit and ginger aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a small medium-lasting creamy white head. Gingerale pumpkin flavour has a bit of allspice. Medium body is bubbly. Interesting, not too much pumpkin (which may be a good thing). Ƙ/4/7/3/14) 3.6

[2479B-20090910] Cask. Spicy pumpkin pie aroma with apple fruit. Hazy, light brown orange body with a quick creamy off-white head. Flavour continues the spicy apply pumpkin theme and allspice. Medium body is a little spicy. Wow, more on par with a ST Pumpking these days, very nice! Ƙ/3/8/4/15) 3.8

bottle. Poured clear amber with a thin white head. Pumpkin pie spiced aroma. The mouthfeel is crisp, peppery, but lighter than I expected. Flavours of clove, allspice, banana, kinda reminds of a Belgian whitbier except I enjoyed this alot. Finishes peppery and dry, lingering aftertaste
