Can (473 ml) bought at LCBO. Clear golden with a frothy white head, good retention, leaving some lacing. Aroma is piney forward with grassy hops, alcohol notes, some spiciness and fruity notes. Taste is semi-sweet with resinous hops, grass, alcohol, spicy cereals and moderate-medium bitterness. Medium body. Moderate-medium carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. Dry finish with some alcohol warmth. Good west coast IIPA but a bit too resinous for my liking. Fred82 (2313) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 1, 2017
500ml can from LCBO. Clear pale yellow with small foamy head. Lots of lacing. Nose fruity and resinous with oily and grassy notes. Taste fruity and grassy. Light floral notes. Thick oily palate. Soft carbonation. Pretty interesting with fruity and grassy profile. Not too grassy. Nice stuff. MatChar (53) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 20, 2017
Appearance: hazy dark orange, pale amber with nice, thick foam. Smell: smooth resinus hops, apricot. Taste: notes of apricot, peach, with nice piney hops, mod-high bitterness, and slight alcohol feel. Pretty juicy feel and taste for DIPA at 8,5 ABV. Overall: nicely done DIPA, another great hoppy beer by GLB. JamesChamp (37) - Canada, Ontario, CANADA - APR 20, 2017
Another good IPA beer by Great Lakes. Delicious taste but surprisingly for a Imperial IPA I find it easy drinking. The bitterness isn’t sticking to my mouth hours after I drank it, it’s very enjoyable fruit hop flavour forward. A Imperial you can enjoy!

Can (tagged 03-31-17): Pours translucent golden orange (almost amber), small white head, alcohol legs. Lots of fresh floral hops, caramel malt, grass, resin, fruity citrus (grapefruit), and hint of pine. Bit of malty sweetness but a whole lot of bitterness, small hint of alcohol and soapiness. Medium+ body, soft medium carbonation, resiny syrupy feel, and long bitter dry finish. Overall, the fresh hops and subtle hints of malty sweetness are nice, but this is an abrasively hoppy bitter DIPA. mathieuc (3942) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - APR 14, 2017
On tap at Brothers Beer Bistro in Ottawa. Pours a fairly clear golden with a small white head that leaves pretty good lacing. Nose is of ripe tropical fruits and slight onion. Taste is gently bitter and offers more tropical fruits and some alcohol. Not too sweet. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Overall a really solid IIPA, not too boozy or sweet and that I can really appreciate. Tranquillity (2251) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 13, 2017
Canned. Half-hazy yellow body, large white head. The aroma has hops, pineapple. The taste is full, with nice oaky notes and some dryness from nuts. The finish is extremely fruity without being too alcoholic. ChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 9, 2017
Pours golden with a creamy white head. Aroma is tropical fruits with citrus hops. Mixture of sweet and bitter fruit flavours that make this a great IPA. Everything I was hoping for, excellent job. googleimage83 (164) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 8, 2017
Clear golden honey body with average head, very high retention. Tropical juice on the nose - tangerine, mango, with distinctly malty sweetness. Taste is loaded with sticky mango and orange and toffee malt flavours. Notes of apple and oak. Bitter hop finish is heavy but easy to take, not harsh. Another winner from GLB.
