Cask at Castro’s Lounge. Hazy amber-orange pour. The nose is softly spicy with some clove, vanilla and a distinct pumpkin flavour. Coriander and a little bit of soft spiciness. Medium bodied and I’m not sure the cask really works here. There is a fairly assertive bitterness here that kind of works. Lingering spiciness. Okay.

Very hazy yellow gold with little off-white head. Aroma is cool light sweet fruity aroma. Light body with a creamy mouth build of carbonation. Very light bitters on the finish with nice mellow & sweet overtones. The spices used have lightly seasoned the beer. Quite nice to not be overblown with flavour and I think this beer captures a light body and flavour match.

I liked the saison side of this pumpkin ale, from the smell to the the taste. It is still a pumpkin ale, with a nice twist.

Pours an extremely macro looking gold, a short lived fizzy white head. Nose of (believe it or not) Pumpkin spice, mild raw vegetable, nutmeg, german pale malts, and some doughy yeast. Again, this is spicy, and more burny than it needs to be. It's not that it's spicier than pumpkin pie... it's just that you're swallowing more of it "quicker" and the liquid just bathes the tongeue, throat, and stomach with straight spice, without the benefit of fat and sweetness. So, it's not entirely unpleasant... but if you've been drinking pumpkin spice all day.. it has a tendency to get repetitive and hot. The beer itself doesn't, even remotely taste like a Saison. It tastes more like a spicy, malty Helles, (I know that's a lager). Minerals oils, toasted cereal, perfumey soap qualities (coriander?) at the end. Their regular pumpkin beer (3.7/5) is much better, and rounds out some of the flaws in this one.

Where Purchased: 650ml bottle from the LCBO Consumed: from a pilsner glass Aroma: Smells sweet, spicy and like a wheat. Appearance : unfiltered medium gold with lots of head that last almost to the last drop. Excellent lacing. Taste: tastes like a wheat meets a belgiam dubble meets a pumkin ale. Mild pumpkin and spice flavour. Palate : medium body. Sweet slightly tangy aftertaste. Great carbonation. Overall: I've said it before that I'm not much od a pumpkin beer lover. This was awesome. Easy drinking, lots of flavour, lots of bubbles. Great beer. I was glad to try and will definetly buy again. MB. The Beer "Bear"on.

Pours a large amount of foamy, bubbly head and has a yellowish/golden appearance. Thick patchy lacing. Aromas of malted barley, yeasty, oats, oranges and a tiny bit of pumpkin. Mildly spiced hop flavours along with some notes of pumpkin spice, light nutmeg and toasty malts. Also some coriander and hints of cinnamon in the finish. Huge mouthcoating sensation. tingling mouthfeel. Excessive carbonation. Really good beer with some bitterness but quite welcome.

bomber. Poured cloudy pale amber with a thin white head. Spicy aroma of clove and banana peel. Light-medium body, actively carbonated, sticky finish. Tastes of wheat malt, sweet with lots of spicy notes, clove, pepper, belgian yeast. Tart finish.

bunget (1043) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 3, 2017
Bottle. Cloudy yellow body, small beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma of yeast, pineapple, funky herbs, grains and peppercorn. Taste of cloves, coriander, yeast, herbs and hints of cinnamon. A bit weird.

Raistlin (503) - London, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 19, 2016
Fruity aroma with some peach and pineapple notes. Foggy orange under some white bubbles. Peppery phenolic flavour complimented by tropical fruit and finishing with a moderate bitterness that lingers. Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering herbal finish.

ChadPoole (479) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 18, 2016
Pours cloudy orange gold with a white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie spices, pepper, and citrus. Flavour is same as aroma but with banana. This is my first pumpkin beer of the year, looking forward to trying more if they’re anything like this. Good beer.
