Cask at Castro’s Lounge. Hazy amber-orange pour. The nose is softly spicy with some clove, vanilla and a distinct pumpkin flavour. Coriander and a little bit of soft spiciness. Medium bodied and I’m not sure the cask really works here. There is a fairly assertive bitterness here that kind of works. Lingering spiciness. Okay.

bomber. Poured cloudy pale amber with a thin white head. Spicy aroma of clove and banana peel. Light-medium body, actively carbonated, sticky finish. Tastes of wheat malt, sweet with lots of spicy notes, clove, pepper, belgian yeast. Tart finish.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow body, small beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma of yeast, pineapple, funky herbs, grains and peppercorn. Taste of cloves, coriander, yeast, herbs and hints of cinnamon. A bit weird.

Fruity aroma with some peach and pineapple notes. Foggy orange under some white bubbles. Peppery phenolic flavour complimented by tropical fruit and finishing with a moderate bitterness that lingers. Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering herbal finish.

Pours cloudy orange gold with a white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie spices, pepper, and citrus. Flavour is same as aroma but with banana. This is my first pumpkin beer of the year, looking forward to trying more if they’re anything like this. Good beer.

Bottle, april 30th 2015. golden/orange body with an offwhite head. Spicy aroma of peppers and the spices people use to kill the pumpkin taste in whatever product they promote as a pumpkin something. Also grassy and flowery hops. Taste of cinnamonm (another pumpkin taste that isn’t pumpkin) clove, saison yeast. funky banana and orange finish. Mildly spiced aftertaste. All in all a good beer, though a bit out of the box as a famhouse.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy dark blond color, no head. The aroma has a strong coriander component, and banana. The mouthfeel is dry, quite weak, and the flavor is poor.
Drinkable Saison.

(bottle) lear, bright orange colour with a medium tall white head; aroma of spice, then lilies; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

dfearnley (2135) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 8, 2015
Bottle to stange Banana, lemon, light funk, and wheat; no pump; no spices, well maybe a hint of clove. Eventually, I smell brine. Translucent light amber with heavy and fast effervescence and a 1 cm long lasting frothy and bright white head. Taste is, um, weird. At first I get hit with a slightly bitter, kind of light citrus. Further sips increase the bitterness, but the light citrus becomes, ash, wheat, and yeast. More sips brings out some pepper and green bell pepper. This is very strange.

Bottle - Banana and some light citrus. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Light sweet banana and not much else. Pumpkin spice but too much banana.
