UPDATED: JUL 14, 2005 Aroma of caramel-covered toasted pine needles. Sticky foam clung to the glass like a child in a roomful of strangers. Wish it wasn’t filtered. Soft bready notes on a tasty citrus hopcone. Leafy finish. Very tasty. Aggie80 (832) - Michigan, USA - MAY 7, 2003
Pours clear pretty yellow amber thick short lived head with somelace. Very typical ale with a very mild aftertaste. Bitter sweet finish with that hoppy aftertaste one looks for. Vac (2445) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 15, 2003
Pours with a clear amber body topped by a thick off-white head with lots of lace laft on the glass. Sweet citrusy (grapefruit) hop aroma. Bitter sweet citrusy hop flavor with an underlying maltines and a bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied, smooth yet dry. LiebeBier (808) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - APR 9, 2003
Draft - Great Lakes. I thought this was a great Pale Ale. Amber color. Nutty, malty and hoppy flavor. Hints of sweetness. Great dry finish. baobubba (455) - Starkville, Mississippi, USA - APR 7, 2003
Clear, amber, white moderate sized head. Almost balanced hop aroma that is leaning towards citrus (lemon) with notes of fruit and nut. Semi-dry flavor with a bunch of ice-tea notes. Light nutty aftertaste. Very good.

Light copper color. Smallish head thins out to a thin layer of bubbles. Cereal bitter nose. Nicely hopped. Nice long finish with orange-style citric flavors. Good full mouthfeel. Nice subtle malt in the middle to give it added complexity. MAP (1133) - Lakewood, Ohio, USA - APR 3, 2003
Smooth, yet hoppy bitterness. Not a serious malt flavor but a good balance with the sweetness from the hops. NIce amber coloring, and a slim amount white head. My only complaints lie in the fact that it has a rather watery feel, and not much of an aroma Terminus (3740) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 21, 2003
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2006 definately a top notch pale ale-some different hop flavors for a pale ale-more german hops, maybe saaz? pours clear orange with a sudsy wispy white head. aroma is piney with notes of grapefruit and grainy malt husks. Flavors are dominated by the citric and piney hops (cascades) pretty fresh and pungent. some nice malt husk notes accent the finish. finish is long, dry, piney with some citric sweetness. I'm very impressed with this beer! Orangish amber. Mild malt sweetness. Hoppy and bitter but mild and tame and great!!! Brilliant. jgb9348 (6588) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 18, 2003
Dark in colour to a normal APA, quick fading head. Malty taste but definately hoppy. A good overall APA!
