Cereal malt smell and nothing else...a bit disappointed in that...taste is the same with light spices... disappointed that it isn’t more spiced and hearty...one dimensional....in Syracuse for 15th high school reunion

12 oz. bottle. Pours an amber color with a quick white head. Aroma is sweet with a little bit of spice. Medium body, the flavor is a combination of sweet honey and cinnamon. Finish is a little sweet. Not bad.

On tap at Jake Melnick’s. Pours a clear amber with beige head. Ginger dominates the aroma with other spicy esters. Faint dark fruit. On the flavor, the spices dominate as the ginger fades. The ginger aroma and spice flavor are a little too assertive, but not a bad offering.

Nice spice aroma. Not too heavy, still smell hops and malts. Nice orange color. Taste has great seasonal spice and some light hops. Nice balance not too heavy in either direction. Not a winter warmer, but just a nice spiced ale. Tap

Christmas in July! This legendary Cleveland beer always has kegs released in July for the half way point of Christmas in this area. Smell of cloves, cinnamon, and other spices are the best! This wonderful brew is darker orange, brown And the taste is smooth and spicy< like no other. Overall this brew gets a higher ranking. Love this beer! Pint of draft at Winking Lizard Copley.

Fruit and spice on the nose with rich malt. Pours clear amber with thick, tan foam The malt comes through in the flavor and the spices add to the richness. Medium body, slightly slick. Finish has some surprising dry bitterness.
