From 12 oz bottle. Pours clear orange with an off-white head. Sweet malty and cinnamon spice aroma (I missed the ginger in my glass). Flavour is spiced and slight sweet. Spiced finish. Ungstrup (38587) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2005
A hazy amber beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of ginger and cinnamon - and so is the flavor. A nice Christmas beer. anders37 (27237) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 4, 2008

Bottle at Birch&Barley. Lots of nutmeg and cinnamon up front, then a nutty and malty middle. Not bad. omhper (25805) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 4, 2002
Nut brown. Spicy nose, but not overly so. Some malt, but this beer is hop and spice dominated.

Also made with honey. Aromatic ginger and then slighty bitter ginger. Honey in the background. Lingering aftertaste of all these elements. Not a subtle beer!
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, amber golden with a dense, off-white head. Fruity and lightly spicy nose. Medium body with fairly sweet fruit, some spices - perhaps a hint of ginger? The finish is dry with some bitterness. Interesting. 290607 Oakes (19010) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 20, 2003
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2009 Bright golden with a thick head. Smooth, complex malts with pine and spice. Very spicy, like a cinnamon stick. Good balance. Rich malts, light spruce. Excellent brew. jtclockwork (17374) - , New Jersey, USA - DEC 25, 2014
Bottle. Pours copper amber. Nose/taste of ginger, cinnamon, spice, honey and light malt. Medium body. brokensail (16670) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 8, 2012
Pours a clear copper color with a finger of off-white head. Lots of cinnamon and ginger aromas, especially ginger. There is a nice bit of sweet malt and bread going on as well. The flavor has plenty of bready malt sweetness as well as some toffee. The ginger is fairly assertive, maybe a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg in there as well. Medium body with low to medium carbonation.
