3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2009 Pours a lovely amber with a nice head. Slightly hoppy, balanced with malt and a little bitterness. Excellent stuff.
Pours a deep amber with a medium white head which is gone quickly.......aroma is just earthy......taste is mild, woody, earthy, finishes dry. chinchill (5451) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 3, 2018
12 oz bottle with a fill date of 11/2017.
Pours with a clear, dark copper body topped by a good off-white head. Some lacing.
Lightly sweet with sweet malts dominating subtle spicy hops. Medium-full body with near medium carbonation. Kleg (461) - The Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 15, 2017
Clear amber pour with a large beige head and very good retention. Good lacing. Lots of sweet caramel malt flavor. Soft mouthfeel and a clean finish. 6.2 ABV is barely noticeable. beern (250) - Alabama, USA - DEC 12, 2017
Pours Amber and translucent with a tan/off-white head with an aroma of caramel malt. Tastes of caramel malt with mild hop bitterness, yeast with a hint of lager acetic acid. There is a little booze in the finish as well. It’s medium bodied with lively carbonation. The hops are earthy, fresh and resinous and mostly absent of bitter pine which balances well with the malt. It finishes dry. This is more robust than expected. StoutBeerReviews (306) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 30, 2017
malty strong flavor. medium body, but not mind blowing. its quite good though.

Pours a slight red color with a creamy but sparse head and average lacing. Candy aroma, like honey? Slightly aqueous. Flavorful! Not bad. jbruner (5605) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2017
Pours a mostly clear golden brown from the bottle with bubbly white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of mild bready sweetness and a touch of citrus and earthy hop notes. Taste is toasted and caramel malt notes over a clean hoppy finish, but not bitter. Solid for what it is. higgsbison (275) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 21, 2017
Need to try it when I am not so buzzed. But I like it quite a bit at the moment. A nice hop forward with a nice long-lasting bitter finish. Slightly nutty

12floz, BBD: 09.27.2017, ~$1.75 unit equivalent, pint glass. An amber lager with clarity and small dirty white head. Corn flake and caramel sets the tone in the aroma, and further in the full bodied palate. I find this to be too heavy handed, it could be a bit thinner in body and be a fine session beer. Instead it feels like a syrupy malt bomb.Perhaps if I look at this more as a Marzen or American amber, then it works as a worthy beer for certain moments. UPDATED: JUL 30, 2017 It's a very good session-able beer. I will always be happy to sit back with a six pack and a Fire and friends and drink this nice malty Vienna lager. Or to have it with Chinese as I just did.
