I got this bottle in a trade with joe1510. Thanks Joe!
This pours a clear bright gold colour with about an inch of foam that broke up into some spotting quickly. Pretty good in the lacing department.
The smell is pretty strong with the grain and hops with some malt sweetness and a touch of biscuit in there as well. Some alcohol is hitting my nose...
The taste has the graininess up front and the hop bitterness close behind but this is has a bigger sweet malt presence than I thought it would. Also, the alcohol is fairly noticeable for the abv but it's still pretty drinkable.
It's on the low end of medium mouthfeel wise, the carbonation is medium, and it finishes slightly bitter with some more biscuit.
Overall, I think this is a pretty good brew; it has some tasty notes, good mouthfeel, and looks nice in the glass. I think it's just a wee bit to boozy and that cuts down on drinkability for me.

Pint T Triangle wine. Good aroma, sweet. Yeasty, doughy. Minor fruitiness, cleNCH golden orange color small head that faded quick, little to no lace. Sweet flavor. Medium body, oily creamy mouthfeel, sweet finish. Interesting, real sweet, but guess you get that when you imperialize and dortmunder. The aroma is strong, not super appealing. Another one of styles that didn’t need to be done big. Yet I had to try. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 16, 2012
Draft. Medium beige head, nice lacing, crystal clear amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, bread/dough, light alcohol/raisin. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, bread. Medium body, light stickiness. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 4, 2012
draft at Blue Monk, Buffalo. Light copper pour, fruit forward aroma, touch of saaz. touch of corn like a euro lager. boozy, sweet malty finish. OK Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - APR 24, 2012
Originally reviewed: 11/20/08. Pours a deep gold, with a frothy white head that retains fairly well. Some spotty lacing. Smells of some adjunct corn, malt, some alcohol.
Can taste the alcohol right off. Very prominent. Also getting some of usual lager flavors of corn and malt. This does have a pleasant bitter bite at the end. Mouthfeel is a little weak. Very few bubbles rising through. A little flat. Drinkability is a little low due to the alcohol smack. Good brew though.

Copper-gold color with a nice 1/2" white head on the pour. Up front comes the sweet caramel malts. The middle of this brew has some interesting hop notes, a little grassy. The finish is somewhat boozy. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - FEB 25, 2012
