Issue a small craft advisory: this South Bay Bessie-inspired brew unleashes a beastly hop attack amid torrid tropical flavors.

This brewer is kicking out some quality beers these days. This one rates the top of my list. Big hoppy, citrusy aroma as soon as you open the bottle. Classic IPA profile with a strong bitter finish. The only bad thing about it is it is not readily available. If you see it don’t pass it up.

katrinaez (2139) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 17, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2017 Pours a caramel color with a matching burnt caramel taste, extremely smooth for a 9+ abv, well done, tap.

malty, faint hop aromas. gold in color with huge long lasting head. taste is of medium caramel malts, pine, faint resin

balloonbuffoon (478) - - SEP 12, 2017
12floz bottle, BBD: 09.10.2017, $3, pint glass. Amber colored DIPA with a sweet nose, and full-bodied with resin and plum flavors. Finishes with boozy heat. There is a maltiness to counter balance the hop bitterness. Some things are are right, then some things seem boring about this beer. In summary it is a mediocre DIPA/IPA for me.

nearbeer (5518) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 27, 2017
12 oz. bottle bb 09/15/2017. Lightly hazy orange-amber with a crunchy disc of foam. Nose is caramel, toast, resin and toasted maize. Tastes of pineapple, resin, caramel and a bit of resinous herb and garlic powder on the finish. Medium bodied with smooth medium fizz and a decent balance.

Absolutely amazing, tasty beer. Robusta hops but finishes very smooth with a subtle sweet aftertaste.

The aroma is malty and hoppy. Hints of sweetness and some citrus hops. Pours a golden orange with big white head mostly lasting, slightly cloudy and excellent lacing. The taste is a medium bitter. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. Very Good!!

beern (156) - Alabama, USA - JUL 28, 2017
Pours light golden and translucent with a white head. Tastes of sweet hops and a little alcohol with a moderately bitter finish. It’s clear, yet medium to full-bodied with lively carbonation. A big, savory IPA.

This is just a bit too sweet, which in turn let’s the alcohol come through. Not a favorite of the style for me.

3.5
willisread (3465) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 27, 2017
Bottle from J’s. Pours a clear, deep gold with a small finger of head that dissipates almost instantly. Oranges, malt and caramel dominate the nose. Light on the palate, citrus and orange hardcandy. Caramel and booze. Finish is a little hot.
