3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear gold to amber pour with a creamy 3 finger, yellowish off white head. Aroma starts off with dark caramel, then lots of herbal, earthy and citrus hops, with a little biscuit, pine and fresh figs in there. Flavor is sweet caramel, toffee, brown rum, dark fruit, brown sugar, toast and a little vanilla. Medium to heavy body with a juicy, syrupy entry, medium strength, slightly sharp carbonation and an oily-slick finish with a boozy astringency. Not really a big fan, it isn’t bad, but it is a very sweet IIPA with too little hop presence, that lacks the malt depth in the flavor to pass as one of those between IIPA and Barley Wine beers.
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2017 Pours a caramel color with a matching burnt caramel taste, extremely smooth for a 9+ abv, well done, tap. ffaoe (834) - Moorestown, New Jersey, USA - SEP 14, 2017

12floz bottle, BBD: 09.10.2017, $3, pint glass. Amber colored DIPA with a sweet nose, and full-bodied with resin and plum flavors. Finishes with boozy heat. There is a maltiness to counter balance the hop bitterness. Some things are are right, then some things seem boring about this beer. In summary it is a mediocre DIPA/IPA for me. nearbeer (5523) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 27, 2017
12 oz. bottle bb 09/15/2017. Lightly hazy orange-amber with a crunchy disc of foam. Nose is caramel, toast, resin and toasted maize. Tastes of pineapple, resin, caramel and a bit of resinous herb and garlic powder on the finish. Medium bodied with smooth medium fizz and a decent balance. lanastasis (8) - St. Marys, Kansas, USA - AUG 26, 2017 does not count
Absolutely amazing, tasty beer. Robusta hops but finishes very smooth with a subtle sweet aftertaste.

The aroma is malty and hoppy. Hints of sweetness and some citrus hops. Pours a golden orange with big white head mostly lasting, slightly cloudy and excellent lacing. The taste is a medium bitter. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. Very Good!! brigg (701) - New York, USA - AUG 14, 2017

Pours light golden and translucent with a white head. Tastes of sweet hops and a little alcohol with a moderately bitter finish. It’s clear, yet medium to full-bodied with lively carbonation. A big, savory IPA. dwyerpg (6297) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 4, 2017
This is just a bit too sweet, which in turn let’s the alcohol come through. Not a favorite of the style for me. willisread (3474) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 27, 2017
Bottle from J’s. Pours a clear, deep gold with a small finger of head that dissipates almost instantly. Oranges, malt and caramel dominate the nose. Light on the palate, citrus and orange hardcandy. Caramel and booze. Finish is a little hot.
