MAP (1133) - Lakewood, Ohio, USA - MAY 4, 2003
Slightly hazy golden color, with a little bit of white head that disappeared quickly. Nose is malty, and slight floral hints. Flavor is rather boring to me, quick feel of sweet malt, that is followed by a small bit hops.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2007 Bottle... Mostly clear and light golden in color. Tiny particles dispersed evenly throughout the glass (I hope the glass was clean). Small, fizzy white head. Quickly diminishing with no lacework left behind. The nose is lightly malty, lightly floral, very citrusy and alcoholic with a metallic/copper note. A perfectly balanced beer. Lightly malty up front; citrusy/lemony and tangy on the backside. Did someone slip a lemon wedge into my beer? Those particles must be pulp. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Not one of my favorite styles of beer, but pretty darn good for the style. Very refreshing Summer beer!

Light pumpkin colored, perfectly carbonated. Very malty. I tried to sip it slowly and failed. This one goes in the "extremely drinkable but nothing to write home about" category. I'm glad TAR gave me one to try though. ;)

Decent carbonation with a slightly tan head. Is light amber in appearance. THe German maybe Czech hops are there but overall balance is poor. Slighly bready, malty, sweet. Nothing special. Poor aromatic qualities. The Dortmunder Gold is a lot beefier and better than this brew.

Nice quaility American Ale alike for "visitors" who accompany real beer drinkers to brew pub. Tastey, though watery, nice clean finish.

Light thin head on a golden colored liquid. Sweet tangy nose. Somewhat a boring and disappointing flavor. Nothing special. A different tasting Lager. Worth a try, but not worth searching for.

I found this a very interesting beer to drink, a very unique flavor. Maybe not the best out there, but certainly worth trying.

Pils look, thin head. Cotton candy nose, lackluster taste. Plain Jane lager.

Doesn't stack up to the other Great Lakes brews. ..........................

DEbeer (192) - West Virginia, USA - DEC 17, 2002
This is an easy drink. I can;t really find anything wrong with it at all. It is kind of floral, but not very hoppy. The maltiness really overpowers everything else. Decent aftertaste.
