COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the 1952 Moondog Coronation Ball (apparently the first “rock & roll” concert), our generously hopped Extra Special Bitter is a lighter-bodied ale with a flowery hop bouquet.

Currently served on nitro at the Brewpub. No longer bottled.

Bottled. Deep golden. Raisiny, papery malt aroma. Wonderful deep malt character. Lightly orangey with some vanilla and toffee and well balanced bitterness.

Clear amber color with a medium creamy off-white head. Thin and sticky slow lacing. Both hops and malt in the aroma. Medium bodied, with a rather light hops load in the flavor. Kind of mild for a Bitter, there is a definite malt backbone along with some fruit. The finish is a little on the sweet side. A good session beer.

yeasty delight with a supporting bitterness and well malted. Initially large head that evaporated to a crown of yeast. Nice yeast aroma and creaminess. Easy satisfying sweet drink at the end of another hot summer day. Malted milk aftertaste.
