COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Often referred to as Burning River Pale Ale’s big brother, this stock ale is remarkably balanced for such a highly hopped beer. A rich deep blood red color makes this beer scary enough to be served every Halloween and a few other times of the year.

bottle @ Vino Bellissimo / Lima OH --- Clear dark amber, 1" tan head, swirls and streaks of lace. Taste is caramel malt that grows fuller and richer in the palate, adding mild hops on the swallow, all parts joining on a solid lingering finish. Highly recommended.

Clear Reddish Amber, Huge Foamy That Lasts And Leaves Thin Rings Of Lacing. Sweet Malt, Light Hop Aroma. Sweet Malt, Light Resin, Modest Hop Bitter. Low Carbonation, Starts Full Body, Finishes a Lot Thinner Than It Started..Hides High ABV Real Well. Smooth and Easy Drinker. Pretty Good. Recommended.

Very hopped up beer. It is really red and fun to drink in the winter and fall. A good stock ale with a great label.

Bottle. Berry, orange peel, caramel malt and light alcohol aroma. Amber with large light tan head. Lightly sweet caramel malt and moderately intense bitter grapefruit peel and mild alcohol flavor.

Bottle. Slightly clouded red color with tall offwhite head. Aroma is fruits and caramel. Nice bitterness up front with hints of citrus and pine. The bitterness is well balanced by the fruity sweetness of the malts. Medium body and carbonation with a crisp finish. I really like this one!

On tap in the Pittsburgh airport, Bar Symon. I smell wood smoke, toffee, black pepper. Clear orange brown with moderate khaki head. Flavors of toasted grain, resin, peaches, alcohol. My mouth likes it a lot. Fine balance of malt complexity with hop edge.

Bottle to pint glass. Pour is deep copper with an off white head. The aroma is hoppy with some red apples. The taste is a well balanced hop and fruit combo. Not citrus but other fruits. The finish is moderately carbonated and easy. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
