Very deep brown. Head is just a wisp around the edge. Theres a good deal of smoke and ash in this one. The cocoa flavors and firm mouthfeel help this stand up to the competitors.

Thin head of very fine bubbles. Dissipates rather quickly. Nice roasted barley and oats aroma with some mild coffee, burnt toast and a bit of rubber. Color is a very dark brown. Body a bit thinner than expected for an oatmeal stout. Mild alcohol presence. Finishes roasty and a tad dry but pretty clean. An ok and easy drinking stout.
