Pours opaque reddish black. Thin body. Roasted malt with notes of chocolate and coffee. Not much character actually. Not a bad beer at all but I expect more considering how awesome their Edmund Fitzgerald porter and blackout stout.

Smooth, medium body oatmeal stout, very drinkable. Pours almost opaque dark red-brown. Nice roasted aroma. Taste is roasted malt, slightly sweet at first, with a dark roast coffee finish. Palate is slightly creamy, smooth, light. Overall, nice cool weather beer, on the light side for a stout. brownaler (707) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - NOV 14, 2017
Roasted malt aroma with a chocolate and hazelnut body. Sharp oatmeal finish. balloonbuffoon (605) - - NOV 12, 2017
12 floz bottle, BBD: 01.27.2018. $10 paid for a six-pack, poured this one into a mug glass where it appears near black with a tan head. It's bold with roastedness, yet it is restrained enough to not be overbearing. I think of the flavor as being like a smore made with a camp fire marshmallow. This is my kind of stout, it's good without being overwrought.

Dark pour with light head. Nose initially good. Thin on tongue and flavor lacking. An odd ‘off’ flavor exists in this one. More seeking to do......

Near black color pour, with a thick tan head. Aroma of grains, earthy hops, cocoa, and roasted malt. Bittersweet malty start. Some grain, and herbal hops. Thinner feel for a stout. Finish has some bitterness. OK, but nothing to get too excited about.
