Sampled on draft at Hugo’s this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet toasted caramel, brown sugar and golden fruit. The flavor was sweet toasted caramel, coconut, nut, brown sugar, golden fruit and a boozy presence that worked well. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied. Travlr (24781) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 1, 2017
Bottle at Salud, thanks to whoever shared this! It’s boozy, roasty, with vanilla and bourbon. djd07 (14517) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 25, 2017
Bottle thanks to George. Pours a cloudy copper with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit, bourbon, wood, vanilla. Medium body, caramel, vanilla, nice booze, very good. RRistow12 (866) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - OCT 25, 2016

Dark orange/Amber color, with small frothy tan head and little lacing. Aroma and flavor have nice bourbon bites, Amber malts, and slight bitterness. Well balanced and delicious

Hazy Amber/brown pour with a thin off white head and light sticky lacing .... Aroma of caramel, vanilla, roasted malts, light bourbon, nutty and light oak with a candied fruit as well .... Taste is sweet and of candied fruits, toffee, vanilla, nuts, roasted malts, caramel, some dry oak, light bourbon notes and a subtle dry hop bite on the back end ... Finished dry with a lingering sweetness, light bitter hop and dry oak/vanilla .... Smooth drinking beer and just a tad too sweet but sessionable with the abv hidden well ryecatcher (1445) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 19, 2016
Bomber. Picked this up in May at the Brewery while at home visiting my girl. Saved it for my Father’s Day beer... and what an occasion it turned out to be: LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers broke a 52 year curse and brought a trophy home to the 216 for the first time since I was born (I’m 44 now, so you do the math). So... about the beer.... it’s sweet, it’s carmelly, it’s barrel-y and it’s the perfect beer to drink to the end of an excruciatingly unparalleled drought in sports history. LeBron, you’re forgiven, and I speak for the entire City of Cleveland when I say this: We love you (and yeah, I know I neglected to comment on the beer but gimme a break... I survived The Drive, The Fumble, The Shot, The Strike and Game 7 against the Marlins).

Pours a dark ruby red with very light tan head. Strong sweet malt, fruit, caramel and light bourbon aroma. A medium smooth body that starts with sweet malts, caramel, and fruits, but ends with a bit of a dark alcohol kick. Balanced aftertaste between the sweet malts and dark alcohol. rondphoto (4448) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUN 3, 2016
@ Party Town ( Friday Night Flights) / Florence KY --- Good aroma of malt and toffee. Cloudy medium amber with an off-white head cover, star fields of lace. Taste is pure malt and toffee that moves through light carbonation to a finish that barely shows hops (or needs to!). Noticeable alcohol late. A big, but enjoyable, brew. I could buy it again. Howler from Ray’s Growler Gallery, shared with bananabi11 for my 100th American Strong ale. Orange brown pour with no head. Big vanilla. Fruits. Stone fruits. Well blended. Some alcohol. Finished sweet. The flavor is sweet, but fruity and it grew on me. 14.4
