Nice bready and hoppy flavor. Drank out of bottle barbecuing. Lots of carbonation and good hops/rye balance. redbeard3 (107) - - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle into a shaker pint. Aroma is unique simcoe smell that is hard to describe- piney and resinous citrus rind. Appearance is golden with nice white head. Taste is spicy rye that competes a bit on the palate with the spicy and piney hops. ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 16, 2014
Aroma: Mango hits you first, but is quickly followed by a moderate rye presence that is semi-sweet. Appearance: Nice, rich copper color with a bone colored head that settles into a bubbly ring, carbonation looks spot-on. Flavor: Rye/a little grapefruit up front with the grapefruit biting a bit more than the rye; not as much mango/tropical fruit noticeable as in the nose- maybe a touch toward the finish, if any. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: A very well-made beer in the GL vein, but never went to the next level for me. rondphoto (4448) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAY 16, 2014
@ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear orange amber, thick white head cover, lots of lace streaks. Taste is marvelous: caramel malt that allows pronounced citrus hops to enter early and share the stage. Both sides sashay 50-50 to a smooth lingering finish. What I imagine any good IPA ought to be. Good stuff. brigg (680) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 15, 2014
(bottle) Hazy, light amber body, small off-white head, slow stream of rising bubbles. Aroma of hop, grain, tropical fruit, earthy malt. Medium body, sticky. Moderate bitterness and sweetness; bread, citrus, light spice. Very drinkable.

I’m liking the rye-PA trend more and more. I think the grain really works well for the style - the intense grain aromas of the rye work well to counterbalance the intense hops for style. Pours orange with good head and lacing. Smells citrusy and has a good rye malt backbone. Finishes medium bitter with some citrus sourness. Tap at Circa. funky broom straw type balance to this otherwise bright and powerful enough ipa with flowery citrus sufficiently harsh and finishing in an aggressive enough rye. a bit of sweetness as appropriate to make that brightness and bring out a bit of tangerine. Golden amber pour with a white head, white lacing. Nose is bright and floral hops. Taste is clean, lots of hops with a strong hop bitterness in the finish. Solid. Mindwarp (276) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 10, 2014
Bottle into a DFH Ale IPA glass -- *Disclaimer- I accidently opened this up when I reached for a different IPA that I had been drinking. Its my only one so I’m rating it*-- Pours a light cloudy golden color with a thick head. Can’t place the aroma, some say spicy, maybe. Head seems to stick around. Taste follows aroma whatever it was. There is some hoppyness but overall it seems pretty smooth. Not a whole lot of bitterness until the aftertaste and that is minimal. I wish I hadn’t corrupted this beer by drinking a different IPA before it because this seems to be pretty good. RRistow12 (866) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - MAY 8, 2014
Tasted from draft. Pours a clear amber with white. Good lacing. Aroma of pine, some citrus and a little sweet caramel. Taste is moderately bitter with a nice sweet caramel malt backbone. Very well balanced. Not an over powering rye taste like a lot of rye beers. Pine, citrus, caramel flavors. Very well done.
